A. Oraciones interrogativas sencillas.

Ejemplo:
The new semester will start in September. El nuevo semestre comenzará en septiembre
Se usa para indicar una ubicación o lugar:
Ejemplos:
She looked me directly in the eyes. Ella me miró directamente a los ojos.
I am currently staying in a hotel. Actualmente me alojo en un hotel.
Ejemplo:
This painting is mostly in blue. Este cuadro está principalmente en azul.
This jacket comes in four different sizes. Esta chaqueta viene en cuatro tamaños diferentes
Ejemplo:
I believe in God. Creo en Dios
AT se usa más bien para indicar presencia en un lugar, sin determinar dónde exactamente.
Se usa para indicar una ubicación o lugar:
Ejemplos:
Mr. Allen is at the university . El Sr. Allen está en la universidad
Mary is at the office today. Mary está en la oficina hoy
Charles and Nancy are at the movies. Charles y Nancy están en el cine.
Ejemplo:
I will meet you at 12 p.m. Te veré a las 12 p.m
The bus will stop here at 5:45 p.m. El autobús parará aquí a las 5:45 p.m
Generalmente la preposición ON indica que un objeto está en contacto con alguna superficie.
Ejemplo:
The picture is ON the wall. La foto está en la pared

B. Oración negativa
1. El orden de palabras de la oración negativa en presente con el verbo BE es el
siguiente.
Estructura: Sujeto + Verbo + not + complemento
Ejemplos:

Paul is NOT an engineer.
Ejemplo:

A. Demostrativos THIS y THAT
1. THIS se usa antes de los sustantivos en singular para referirse a una persona o una cosa que
se encuentra cerca de la persona que habla. THAT se usa antes del sustantivo en singular para
referirse a personas o cosas que NO se encuentran cerca de la persona o cosas de la persona
que habla. THESE se utiliza como adjetivo antes de un sustantivo en plural que se encuentra
cerca y THOSE se utiliza como adjetivo antes del sustantivo en plural para señalar algo que se
encuentra lejos. De igual forma se utilizan como adjetivos o como pronombres.
Ejemplos.
a) THESE sentences are very long. (adjetivo)
THESE are very long sentences (Pronombre)
