Paola Nicole Marrero Rodríguez, conocida profesionalmente como paopao, es una cantautora
puertorriqueña ganadora del Latin GRAMMY®. Su estilo musical se describe predominantemente como
una mezcla de reggaetón y pop alternativo. A principios de 2021, paopao firmó su primer contrato
discográfico y editorial bajo RichMusic, lanzando su sencillo debut “pal sex” en septiembre de 2021 con
gran éxito. El tema fue producido por el visionario y uno de los productores más influyentes de la música
latina, Dimelo Flow, junto con Symon Dice y Mizu, y coescrita por paopao y Toy Wapo. En noviembre
lanzó su segundo sencillo, “ascensor” con Omar Courtz, generando elogios de los reconocidos artistas
Sech y Dalex, entre otros. paopao comenzó 2022 con fuerza con el lanzamiento de “tenemos que
hablar” con iZaak, que se incluirá en su EP en conjunto, “relaciones tóxicas”, que se lanzará en el
transcurso de este año. En marzo, paopao lanzó el EP exclusivamente femenino “hembrismo” con La
Gabi, ARIA VEGA, Cami Da Baby y Villano Antillano, elevando las voces emergentes en la escena urbana
latina y demostrando que las mujeres son el futuro del género.
