Descripción del curso:

El curso de Inglés 103 corresponde al nivel Introductorio alto: A2 según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia
para las Lenguas y los estándares internacionales TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). La
asignatura de Inglés Tres es un espacio pedagógico que pretende desarrollar en los estudiantes competencias
lingüísticas que les permitan desenvolverse exitosamente (en un nivel A2) en la lengua inglés en su entorno
académico social y profesional.

Objetivos del curso:

• Lograr que el estudiante comprenda frases de forma oral y escrita en contexto y expresiones de uso frecuente
relacionadas con temas inmediatos a él, como informaciones personales, familiares, académicos, entorno de
trabajo, viajes, empleo, planes futuros, experiencias pasadas, responsabilidades, entre otros.
 Lograr que el estudiante pueda comunicarse activamente en forma oral o escrita para desarrollar tareas
simples, dando informaciones breves y directas acerca de temas familiares cotidianos, académicos y del entorno
laboral.
• Promover una actitud crítica, creativa, participativa y respetuosa hacia la multiculturalidad y plurilingüismo
dentro y fuera de clase.

Evaluación en síntesis:
Primer Parcial Unidad 1 50% actividades acumulativas y 50% quiz
Segundo Parcial Unidad 2 50% actividades acumulativas y 50% quiz
Tercer Parcial Unidad 3 50% actividades acumulativas y 50% quiz
Tareas y proyectos Con 50% en cada parcial, incluyendo trabajo virtual

Textos principales: English ID 2-A, Personal Best, EuroComRom, InterRom.

Nota Final: Promedio de los tres parciales. Nota de aprobación: 65%
Fechas (flexibles) de exámenes: I parcial: Febrero 20, II parcial: Marzo 19, III parcial: Abril 23, 2020.
Reposición: Abril 29 y 30. Registro de notas en DIPP UNAH: Mayo 04, 05 y 06. Sem. Santa: Abr 06-12

Consideraciones en cuanto a la asistencia a clase y material:

La asistencia es obligatoria, es un curso presencial, altamente dinámico y participativo-comunicativo
Las excusas y ausencias deben ser justificadas, en algunos casos refrendadas por la VOAE.
La falta de más de 4 clases pierde derecho a exámenes, Art. 8, del Reglamento de los Estudiantes
El texto, libro de ejercicios y uso de la plataforma: www.richmondlp.com, son recursos
recomendados para el mejor aprovechamiento de la clase.
Se usaran otros materiales adicionales para reforzar el aprendizaje y desarrollo de competencias.
