INTERPRETACIÓN
Detecta tanto la presencia de deterioro cognitivo como el grado del mismo3. Las
cuestiones con varias respuestas sólo se aceptan como correctas si todos los
elementos de las mismas lo son.
PROPIEDADES PSICOMÉTRICAS
Fiabilidad:
La fiabilidad test-retest3,13 oscila entre 0,82 y 0,85.
Validez:
Los índices de correlación con otros instrumentos similares son: 0,79 con el Clinical
Dementis Rating14, 0,81 con el Blessed Information-Memory-Concentration test15 y del
0,76 al 0,88 con el Mental Status Questionnaire, 2,4,14.
Según varios estudios recogidos por Del Ser11 la sensibilidad varía del 68 al 82% y la
especificidad del 92 al 96%.
