FINAL ENGLISH TEST – KIDS V – ORAL TEST

Task 1: Introduction (2 mins)

The examiner invites each of the students in turn to talk about him/herself answering the following
questions:

 How are you today? What’s your name?

 Where are you from?
 What’s your mum’s/dad’s/brother’s/sister’s name? How old are they?
 Have you got a pet? What’s its name? How old is it? What colour is it?
 When is your birthday?
 What’s your ID number?

Task 2: Using Vocabulary and Grammar (7 mins)

The examiner chooses some of the following questions and encourages students to demonstrate
knowledge about vocabulary and grammatical structures developed in classes:

Daily routine and interests:

 Tell me about a typical day in your life. What do you do?

 What do you usually eat for breakfast?
 Do you go to restaurants with your family?
 What time do you eat dinner?
 What is your favourite drink/meal? Why?
 Have you got a mobile phone? What’s your favourite app? Why?
 Why do you study English?

Past activities:

 Tell me about your last birthday.

 Tell me about your last Winter/Summer holidays.
 Tell me about your last school trip.

Task 3: Description of a photo (5 mins)

Students choose a picture and describe it using as much vocabulary and grammatical structures as
possible. The main idea of this task is to establish a dialogue with each student.

Task 4: Preferences and interests (5 mins)

Students should search for information and explain something about his/her favourite idol’s
life.
