lengua.
OBJETIVO GENERAL
GRAMMAR
El grado comparativo
1.-Comparativos de superioridad.
Ejemplos:
Juan is faster than Mark. (Juan corre más rápido que Mark.)
Angela's room is cleaner than Sue's.
I am taller than Beth. (Soy más alto que Beth.)
New York is bigger than Los Angeles. (Nueva York es más grande que Los
Angeles.)
as...as" or "less...than".
Ejemplos:
Mark is not as fast as Juan. (Mark no corre tan rápido como Juan.)
Sue's room is less clean than Angela's.
Beth is not as tall as me. (Beth no es tan alta como yo.)
Los Angeles is not as big as New York. (Los Angeles no es tan grande como
Nueva York.)
Ejemplos:
The youngest (él más joven) / The friendliest (él más amigable)
Ejemplos:
Juan is the fastest. (Juan es el más rápido.)
Angela's room is the cleanest.
I am the tallest. (Soy el más alto.)
New York is the biggest city in the United States.

uso
She is cooking a delicious salad this afternoon. (Esta tarde ella cocinará una
ensalada deliciosa)
They are playing soccer tomorrow.
What are you doing tonight? ¿Qué haces esta noche?
Are you playing football on Saturday? ¿Juegas al fútbol el sábado?
Complete the next sentences using the present continuous for future use.
futuro
3.Be going to
1. Planes / Intenciones
I´m going to get my hair cut tomorrow. (Me voy a cortar el pelo mañana.)
John and Mary are going to buy a house in the country next year. (John y
We are going to start eating healthily next month.
I´m seeing Rocio this evening. (Voy a ver a Roció esta noche.)
I´m going to see Rocio this evening. (Voy a ver a Roció esta noche.)
2. Predicciones
It's 8.30! You're going to miss your train! (¡Son las 8:30! Vas a perder el tren)
Look at that plane! It's going to crash! (¡Mira el avión! ¡Va a estallarse!)
Look at those clouds. It's going to rain. (Mira esas nubes. Va a llover.)
Look at Mary. She's going to have a baby. (Mira a Mary. Va a tener un bebe.)
Resumimos la estructura gramatical como:
The following people are about to do something. You can see that they have
already planned or prepared the activities.
