1.0. GENERALIDADES 1.0. OVERVIEW

1.1. Propósito de la especificación

La tubería conduit serán metálicas de F°G°, sin
soldaduras

El tubo se suministrará con los extremos
roscados con protector plástico en un extremo
y unión en otro.

Deberán ser resistentes a la corrosión por
humedad o agentes químicos. No deberán
presentar venas o protuberancias interiores
que puedan dañar el aislamiento de los cables
y conductores. Las roscas de fábrica deberán
estar debidamente protegidas para evitar
abolladuras de las mismas durante el
transporte y manipuleo de las mismas.

En cada proyecto y en cada planta se elegirá el
tubo según los antecedentes o las necesidades
del nuevo proyecto.

Siempre que la construcción en campo lo
permita, los cambios de dirección se realizarán
curvando el tubo en lugar de utilizar curvas a
90º o 45º.

Para áreas corrosivas la tubería será de acero
revestida de PVC, aplicado según normas.
2.2. Estándares y códigos
Se cumplirán y aplicarán las siguientes normas:
 ANSI (Instituto Americano de Normas
Nacionales).
 ANSI C80.1 Conducto de acero rígido

2.0. MATERIALS DESCRIPTION
2.1. General

The metal conduit will galvanized steel without
welding.

Conduit will be supplied with threaded ends with
plastic protector at one end and joint at another.

Should be resistant to corrosion by moisture or
chemicals. They must not present veins or
internal protrusions that might damage the
insulation of cables and conductors. The threads
should be duly protected factory to avoid dents
thereof during transport and handling of these.

In each project and in each plant , conduits will
be chosen according to the antecedents and the
needs of the new project.

Every time the construction will allow it, changing
directions will be done curving the tube instead of
using 90° or 45° curves.

For corrosive areas, conduits will be PVC coated,
applied according to standards.
2.2. Standards and codes
The following standards shall be applied and
accomplished:

3.0. CARACTERÍSTICAS CONSTRUCTIVAS
3.1. General

El tubo de acero será galvanizado por
inmersión en caliente.
 El espesor mínimo del galvanizado será de
80 micras y un promedio de 90 micras.
 Estará libre de rugosidades y de cascarilla
tanto en su interior como en el exterior.

Las longitudes de cada tubo serán de 3 m y
longitudes mayores serán aprobados por
escrito por Antamina.

Todos los tubos se protegerán en ambos
extremos con protectores de plástico, para
estanqueidad y protección de roscas.

El tubo se marcará según norma de
fabricación.

Los accesorios de acero serán electro
galvanizados tanto interior como exteriormente.

Los tubos de acero revestidos en PVC, serán
galvanizados en caliente.
 El espesor mínimo de la capa exterior de
PVC será 0.04” (40 mils).
 Estará revestido interiormente con pintura
química de uretano con una capa de 50

3.0. CONSTRUCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS
3.1. General

The steel conduit will be hot dipped galvanized
steel
 The minimum thickness of the galvanized
will be 80 micron and the average 90
micron.
 It will be free of roughness and foil inside
and outside.

The length of each conduit will be 3 meters and
longer lengths will be approved in writing by
Antamina.

All the conduits will be protected in both ends
with plastic protectors, for water tightness and
threads protection.

The conduit will be marked according to the
manufacturing standard.

Steel accessories will be inside as outside electro
galvanized.

The steel conduits with PVC cover will be hot
dipped galvanized.
 Minimum thickness of the PVC layer will
be of 0.04” (40 mils).
 The conduit will be inside covered with

6.0. GARANTÍA

El fabricante reparará y/o reemplazará en
fábrica o en terreno, según sean las
necesidades del caso, a sus expensas,
cualquier tubería que falle o muestre defectos
de fabricación o montaje durante un período de

7.0. TRANSPORTE Y EMBALAJE

Para el embalaje y transporte desde la fábrica
deberán cumplirse las siguientes condiciones:
 Las tuberías deberán ser embalados para
transporte marítimo y terrestre, preparando
el embalaje para evitar daños y robos, y
considerando que deberán ser protegidos
en todo momento de averías, inclemencias
del tiempo y manejo desde su lugar de
despacho hasta su destino final.
 El fabricante deberá proporcionar todos los
elementos de embalaje de acuerdo a su
experiencia, para que lleguen en forma
segura a su lugar de destino.
 Los embalajes en madera deberán contar
con la documentación sanitaria
correspondiente al país de ingreso.
8.0. REQUERIMIENTOS DE CALIDAD

Las tuberías, deberán ser diseñados y
fabricadas de acuerdo a un plan de control y
aseguramiento de calidad por parte del
fabricante.

El vendedor deberá proporcionar toda la
información necesaria y suficiente para
certificar el plan de control y aseguramiento de
calidad para el diseño y fabricación de los
materiales eléctricos.

Any difference with what is indicated in this
specification must be indicated to the buyer along
with the offer.
7.0. TRANSPORTATION AND PACKING
• For packing and transportation from the factory,
the following conditions must be met:
 The conduits must be packed for sea and
land transport, preparing the packaging to
avoid damage and theft, and considering
that the equipment and materials must be
protected at all times from breakdowns,
inclement weather and handling from their
place of dispatch until final destination.
 The manufacturer must provide all the
packaging elements according to their
experience, so that arrive safely at their
destination.
 Wooden packaging must have the
sanitary documentation corresponding to
the country of entry.
8.0. QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

Conduits must be designed and manufactured
according to manufacturer control and quality
assurance plan.

The seller must provide all the necessary and
sufficient information to certify the control and
quality assurance plan for the design and
manufacture of electrical materials.
