Reglas de conjugación para verbos regulares e irregulares en presente

simple para terceras personas

Las terceras personas tienen una especialidad, debemos tener en cuenta las
reglas que veremos a continuación, recuerda que estas reglas son para el
presente simple. Se usa tanto para verbos regulares como para irregulares.
Las terceras personas son: She, He and It
Regla 1: Cuando el verbo termina en “E” se agrega una “S”
Verbos: To take= tomar To make= hacer

I take= yo tomo I make= yo hago

You take= tu tomas
He takes= él toma
She takes= ella toma
It takes= toma
We take= nosotros tomamos
You take= ustedes toman
They take= ellos toman
you make= tú haces
He makes= él hace
she makes= ella hace
it makes= hace
We make= nosotros hacemos
you make= ustedes hacen
They make= ellos hacen
Regla 2: Cuando el verbo termina en “Y” pero le antecede una vocal se
agrega una “S”
Verbos: To say= decir To buy= comprar
I say= yo digo I buy= yo compro
You say= tú dices you buy= tú compras
He says= él dice He buys= él compra
She says= ella dice she buys= ella compra
It says= Dice it buys= compra
We say= nosotros decimos We buy= nosotros compramos
You say= ustedes dicen you buy= ustedes compran
They say= ellos dicen They buy= ellos compran

Regla 3: Cuando el verbo termina en “Y” pero le antecede una consonante se

reemplaza “Y” por i latina y añadimos “es”

Verbos: To fly= volar To cry= llorar

I fly= yo vuelo
You fly= tu vuelas
He flies= el vuela
She flies= ella vuela
It flies= vuela
We fly= nosotros volamos
You fly=ustedes vuelan
They fly= ellos vuelan
I cry= yo lloro
you cry= tú lloras
He cries= él llora
she cries= ella llora
it cries= llora
We cry= nosotros lloramos
you cry= ustedes lloran
They cry= ellos lloran
Regla 4: Cuando el verbo termina en “Ch, sh, x, doble ss, doble zz” le
añadimos “es”
Verbos: To teach= enseñar To wash= lavar
I teach= yo enseño I wash= yo lavo
You teach= tu enseñas you wash= tú lavas
He teaches= el enseña He washes= él lava
She teaches= ella enseña she washes= ella lava
It teaches= enseña it washes= lava
We teach= nosotros enseñamos We wash= nosotros lavamos
You teach=ustedes enseñan you wash= ustedes lavan
They teach= ellos enseñan They wash= ellos lavan

Verbos: To mix= mezclar To cross= cruzar

I mix= yo mezclo I cross= yo cruzo

You mix= tu mezclas
He mixes= el mezcla
She mixes= ella mezcla
It mixes= mezcla
We mix= nosotros mezclamos
You mix=ustedes mezclan
They mix= ellos mezclan
you cross= tú cruzas
He crosses= él cruza
she crosses= ella cruza
it crosses= cruza

Verbos: To buzz= zumbar

I buzz= yo zumbo
You buzz= tu zumbas
He buzzes= el zumba

Regla 5: Cuando el verbo termina en “O” le añadimos “es

Verbos: To do= hacer To go= ir
I do= yo hago I go= yo voy
You do= tú haces you go= tú vas
He does= él hace He goes= él va
She does= ella hace she goes= ella va
It does= hace it goes= va
We do= nosotros hacemos We go= nosotros vamos
You do=ustedes hacen you go= ustedes van
They do= ellos hacen They go= ellos van
Regla 6: Cuando el verbo termina en otras consonantes diferentes a las 5
reglas anteriores solo agregamos “S”
Verbos: To sleep= dormir To run= correr To drink= beber To get= obtener

I run= yo corro I drink= yo bebo

You run= tú corres
He runs= él corre
She runs= ella corre
It runs= corre
We run= nosotros corremos
You run=ustedes corren
They run= ellos corren
you drink= tú bebes
He drinks= él bebe
she drinks= ella bebe
it drinks= bebe
We drink= nosotros bebemos
you drink= ustedes beben
They drink= ellos beben

I sleep= yo duermo I get= yo obtengo

You sleep= tú duermas
He sleeps= él duerme
She sleeps= ella duerme

 Regla especial de To have

Regla 7: El verbo To Have cuando se conjuga con las terceras personas se

reemplaza “ve” por una “S” por eso es una regla especial

Verbos: To have= tener

You have= tú tienes
He has= él tiene
She has= ella tiene
It has= tiene
We have= nosotros tenemos
You have=ustedes tienen
They have= ellos tienen
