Ejercicio de análisis arquitectónico y reconstrucción del edificio asignado, siguiendo los criterios explicados
en clase: lugar, volumen, estructura, composición formal, geometría, materiales y sistemas de construcción.

El estudio debe basarse en la información recogida: dibujos, fotografías, textos, artículos críticos,
entrevistas, vídeos, etc. encontrados en publicaciones (libros y revistas), archivos, páginas web, etc. Es muy
importante registrar exactamente la fuente original, el autor y el año de publicación de cada uno de los
documentos. Las fuentes primarias prevalecen sobre las secundarias. La información obtenida se comentará
en clase, para ser revisada y establecer un criterio de filtro adecuado.

El dossier A3 consistirá en documentación original (textos, planos redibujados, esquemas de análisis),

fotografías históricas y de maqueta, y bibliografía. Texto e imágenes deben seguir una relación clara. El
discurso debe estructurarse en capítulos (índice). El texto debe ser original, propio, y debe incluir citas o
referencias que lo relacionen con otros trabajos y autores. Se entregará en papel y formato digital,
incluyendo fotografías de los miembros del grupo en la portada interior.
Se realizará una maqueta del edificio siguiendo el criterio de escala, materiales, etc. establecido en clase, y
que será común para todos los grupos.

Finalmente, el grupo hará una presentación pública del trabajo de investigación en formato Power Point (15
min).

Exercise of architectural analysis and reconstruction of the building assigned, following the criteria
explained in class: site, volume, supporting structure, formal composition, geometry, materials and
construction systems.

The study will be based on collected information: drawings, photographs, texts, critical articles, interviews,
videos, etc. from publications (books and magazines), archives, websites, etc. It’s very important to exactly
register the original source, the author and the year of publication of each of the documents. Primary
sources prevail over secondary. The information obtained will be shared in class, assessing their interest and
establishing filter criteria.

The A3 dossier consist of original documentation (texts, redrawn plans, analysis sketches), historical
photographs and from the model, and bibliography. Text and images will be combined in a single speech,
structured into chapters (index). The text must be original, from the student itself, and include citations or
references that refer to other works and authors. It will be delivered in paper and digital format, including
photographs of group members on the back cover.

A model of the building will be built following the criteria of scale, materials, etc. agreed in class, which will
be the same for all groups.

Finally, the group will make a public presentation of the research in a PowerPoint format (15 min)

Cada estudiante entregará un dosier individual que muestre su interés y seguimiento del curso y que deberá
contener:

A_Apuntes de clase (A4): notas de clase, comentarios de las presentaciones de los otros grupos,
conferencias, exposiciones, etc. Estará ilustrado con fotografías y dibujos que pueden ampliarse a partir de
aquellos mostrados en clase.

B_Comentarios de Texto t1/t4 (A4): de cada texto propuesto, los alumnos/as deberán realizar un breve
comentario. Este debe razonar y justificar un aspecto a destacar del texto, con una cita y una imagen. Se
entregará en clase y e-study según calendario, para su revisión. Sólo se podrán mejorar los textos
entregados en fecha, en la entrega final de curso.

C_Ejercicios de Dibujo d1/d5 (A3): se realizarán de forma individual en clase y en relación al edificio a
analizar. Se entregarán al final de la sesión.

Each student will submit an individual dossier setting out its monitoring of the course and consisting of the
following parts:

A_Class notebook (A4): class notes, comments on the presentations of colleagues, conferences and
exhibitions will be collected. It is illustrated with photographs and drawings and may extend the class
contents.

B_Text comments t1 / t4 (A4): From each reading texts proposed, each student will make a brief comment.
This will involve a reasonable and justifiable comment of an appointment from the text and its illustration
with an image. They will be delivered every two weeks to review. Only those delivered on time, can be
improved to final submission.

C_Drawing and Photography exercices d1 / d5 (A3): Performed individually in class in relation to the
building analyzed. They will be delivered at the end of each session.
