(A folktale)
This folktale is from Finland. Mikko is a young

Last summer, my brother Louis had an accident.
He was in a canoe. He had a serious injury. The
Emergency Medical Team team came to help. Their
job is to ride in the ambulance and help people who
are sick or injured. They had tools to help Louis
breathe on the route to the hospital. We were very
grateful. Now Louis has a new personal goal. He
hopes to be on their fearless team someday too.

they’re covered in little, white spots. The spots
look like the forest floor. If a fawn has snuggled
