According to the explanation, create five sentences using the structure of the cero conditional or Present Factual
Conditional and according to the images.

exercises, and write them in the chart you find below.Write the phrasal verbs that you identify in the exrcise 10 and 11.

Stage 7. Apply the phrasal verbs in a text.
Choose 7 phrasal verbs from the exercise of Topic 10. identifying phrasal verbs; and Topic 11. understanding phrasal
verbs in context, and write a text in past where you use them. You have to underline these phrasal verbs to distinguish
them in the text.

Example:
Two years ago my family and I were in Cartagena. We decided to go in my car because we wanted to take
advantage of it to visit many touristic places in that city. While we were in the car, we turned on the radio and we
were happy. I plugged in my cellphone in the car to take the pictures. We had three hours traveling, suddenly our
car broke down and we found down the motor was so hot.I was worried but my husband calmed me down. We
asked for a crane but they didn´t answer us. After twenty minutes, they called back us and we explained our
problem. When they got to the place, they helped us and we could arrive at Cartagena. We ate out in a typical
Caribbean food restaurant. In the end, our trip was excellent.

Ejemplo:
Hace dos años mi familia y yo estuvimos en Cartagena. Decidimos ir en mi carro porque queríamos aprovecharlo para
visitar muchos lugares turísticos de esa ciudad. Mientras estábamos en el auto, encendimos la radio y nos alegramos.
Conecté mi celular en el auto para tomar las fotos. Estuvimos tres horas viajando, de repente nuestro coche se averió y
descubrimos que el motor estaba muy caliente.
Estaba preocupada pero mi esposo me calmó. Pedimos una grúa pero no nos contestaron. Después de veinte minutos,
nos llamaron y les explicamos nuestro problema. Cuando llegaron al lugar nos ayudaron y pudimos llegar a Cartagena.
Comimos en un restaurante de comida típica caribeña. Al final, nuestro viaje fue excelente.

Stage 8: Publish your text

You must publish your text written with the phrasal verbs in the Writing task forum.

Stage 9: Send your feedback

Each student must give feedback to one of his/her partners. The feedback must help to improve the text of your
partners. You must tell if it has something to improve or if it is perfect and explain why.
Note: In case a student has sent his/her contribution on time but any other one has sent his/her participation. This
student must send a message inviting the group member to participate and signing the due dates of the activity,
besides can send a motivational message as a way to encourage the group member’s participation.
