Mis primeros pasos de baile // My first dance steps

El día de hoy como segundo post que publico en Hive, quiero compartir con todos
ustedes la vez que desarrolle mi amor por el baile. Siendo esta una de mis
grandes experiencias en la vida, y una de las cuales he disfruto bastante. Quiero
aclarar que en este momento no cuento con muchas fotos personales de este
tema, ya que, en ese momento no contaba con un teléfono o una cámara
individual, así que, tratare de poner mi mayor esfuerzo en ilustrar bien esta
redacción, y usar algunas imágenes referenciales.

Siendo una persona que la mayor parte de su vida lo vivió en el campo, al

mudarme a la ciudad, había muchas cosas que no conocía, como por ejemplo las
rutas de transporte, casi siempre me perdía en centro de la ciudad, de igual
manera me costo adaptarme a los ruidos, la aglomeración de las personas. Y que,
bueno no tenia a mis amigos cerca, pensé que seria complicado hacer nuevos
amigos, pero en realidad no me fue tan mal. Al transferirme a un liceo
(preparatoria) aquí en la ciudad, pensé que sería difícil con mis nuevos
compañeros, pero la verdad es que, conocí muchos amigos con los mismos
alocados gustos que los míos.

Today as the second post I publish on Hive, I want to share with you all the time I
develop my love for dance. This being one of my great experiences in life, and one
of which I have quite enjoyed. I want to clarify that at this time I do not have many
personal photos of this topic, since, at that time I did not have a telephone or an
individual camera, so, I will try to do my best to illustrate this wording well, and use
some referential images.

Being a person who lived most of his life in the countryside, when I moved to the
city, there were many things that I did not know, such as transport routes, I almost
always got lost in the center of the city, in the same way It was hard for me to
adapt to the noises, the crowding of people. And that, well, I didn't have my friends
around, I thought it would be difficult to make new friends, but it wasn't really that
bad for me. When I transferred to a high school (high school) here in the city, I
thought it would be difficult with my new classmates, but the truth is that, I met
many friends with the same crazy tastes as mine.
Al finalizar mi cuarto año en el liceo de aquí de la ciudad, mis compañeros
organizaron una fiesta de fin de año y me invitaron a ir con ellos. Yo estaba algo
nervioso, nunca había asistido a una fiesta, y mucho menos sabia bailar. Estando
en la fiesta, fue todo muy chévere, echábamos bromas y nos reíamos bastante,
pero cuando la fiesta empezó a ponerse mas buena, fue cuando empecé a
sentirme un poco excluido, ya que todos estaban bailando y yo era el único que
estaba en la mesa de pasapalos jajaja.

En ese momento una de mis amigas me invito a bailar, a lo que yo acepte, pero de
ante mano le había dicho que no sabía bailar y que nunca lo había hecho, y ella,
pues tiernamente me dijo que me enseñaría, y sin darme cuenta ya todos mis
amigos habían hecho un circulo en medio de la fiesta para enseñarme, fue algo un
poco penoso al principio, pero en realidad me divertí mucho ya que en ningún
momento juzgaron mis locos movimientos de principiantes. Ese día fue la primera
vez que baile salsa y bachata, con movimientos un poco distorsionados, pero las
baile jeje.
At the end of my fourth year at the high school here in the city, my classmates
organized an end-of-the-year party and invited me to go with them. I was a little
nervous, I had never attended a party, much less knew how to dance. Being at the
party, it was all very cool, we made jokes and laughed a lot, but when the party
started to get better, that's when I started to feel a little left out, since everyone was
dancing and I was the only one in the party. snack table hahaha.

At that moment one of my friends invited me to dance, to which I accepted, but

beforehand I had told her that she did not know how to dance and that she had
never done it, and she, because she tenderly told me that she would teach me,
and without giving me Account and all my friends had made a circle in the middle
of the party to teach me, it was something a bit painful at first, but actually I had a
lot of fun since at no time did they judge my crazy beginner movements. That day
was the first time I danced salsa and bachata, with slightly distorted movements,
but I danced them hehe.
Al día siguiente uno de mis amigos, me hizo una invitación para una academia de
baile en la que el asistía, el ya me la había comentado anteriormente sobre eso,
pero en ese momento no le coloque tanta atención. Todo mi interés comenzó
desde esa noche en la fiesta, cuando pude apreciar más de cerca la manera de
bailar de cada una de las personas que estaban allí.

Así que, empecé a asistir a la academia, donde poco a poco fueron enseñándome
los tiempos del baile, la manera correcta de moverse, los pasos, y ejercicios para
soltar el cuerpo, ya que era un poco rígido a la hora de bailar. Poco a poco fui
aprendiendo mucho mas a avanzar en el baile, solo me tomo dos meses el
aprender a bailar bien salsa, merengue y bachata. Dentro de la academia,
igualmente pude conocer a muchas personas, de los cuales ahora son mis
grandes amigos y con los cuales compartí muchos momentos agradables. Todo
esto antes de la cuarentena.

The next day one of my friends made me an invitation to a dance academy where
he attended, he had already told me about it before, but at that moment I did not
pay so much attention to it. All my interest started from that night at the party, when
I was able to appreciate more closely the way of dancing of each of the people who
were there.

So, I began to attend the academy, where little by little they taught me the times of
the dance, the correct way to move, the steps, and exercises to let go of the body,
since I was a bit rigid when it came to dancing. Little by little I was learning much
more to advance in dance, it only took me two months to learn to dance salsa,
merengue and bachata well. Inside the academy, I was also able to meet many
people, of whom are now my great friends and with whom I shared many pleasant
moments. All this before quarantine.
Al cumplir mis cinco meses en la academia, me ofrecieron la oportunidad de
enseñarle a los nuevos miembros, y desde ese entonces ya no pagaba mas la
mensualidad, ahora me pagaban a mi por enseñar. Al principio, como todo, se me
hizo un poco complicado enseñar, porque no tenía mucha paciencia para eso jaja.
Pero después fui recordando mis inicios, y la dedicación que tuvieron al
enseñarme, así que, poco a poco fui aprendiendo a ser maestro, y enseñar de
manera correcta de a mis alumnos.

Luego de estar un año en todo esto, empecé a practicar baile urbano dentro de la
misma institución. Y fue cuando por primera vez pude salir a un evento de
presentación de baile urbano, donde se presentaron varias academias, fue una
experiencia única, llena de bastante adrenalina, ya que dábamos lo mejor de cada
uno de nosotros al momento de bailar. Luego dentro de la misma academia,
empezamos a organizar un grupo, en el cual hacíamos presentaciones de bailes
urbanos, en los que casi siempre me tocaba abrir la presentación.

When I completed my five months in the academy, they offered me the opportunity
to teach the new members, and since then I no longer paid the monthly fee, now
they paid me to teach. At first, like everything else, it was a bit difficult for me to
teach, because I didn't have much patience for that haha. But later I was
remembering my beginnings, and the dedication they had in teaching me, so, little
by little I was learning to be a teacher, and to teach my students correctly.

After spending a year in all this, I began to practice urban dance within the same
institution. And it was when for the first time I was able to go out to an urban dance
presentation event, where several academies were presented, it was a unique
experience, full of a lot of adrenaline, since we gave the best of each one of us
when dancing. Later, within the same academy, we began to organize a group, in
which we did urban dance performances, in which I almost always had to open the
performance.

Sin lugar a duda, había muchos planes para desarrollar dentro de la academia.
Pero una vez que comenzó la cuarentena, la mayoría de nuestros planes cayeron,
ya que no podíamos reunirnos como antes. De verdad que me entristeció mucho,
debido a que la dueña tuvo que cerrar el local donde practicábamos. Después de
un tiempo volvieron a abrir, pero no dio resultado, ya que la mayoría no asistían,
por temor a contagiarse, y claro eso es algo lógico de entender en estos
momentos de pandemia.

Pero sin duda alguna, esa fue una experiencia que no solo me enseño a bailar,
sino que también me enseñó a madurar en mi vida personal, ya que pude
aprender a expresarme con libertad, a entender mucho mas a las personas a la
hora de enseñarles. Desde mi punto de vista creo que el baile es un arte, con el
cual podemos expresar nuestros sentimientos, conocer a las personas, y gozar de
un agradable momento, ya sea con nuestros amigos, familiares, conocidos, entre
otros.

Without a doubt, there were many plans to develop within the academy. But once
the quarantine started, most of our plans fell through, as we couldn't meet like
before. It really saddened me a lot, because the owner had to close the place
where we practiced. After a while they reopened, but it did not work, since most did
not attend, for fear of getting infected, and of course that is something logical to
understand in these times of pandemic.

But without a doubt, that was an experience that not only taught me to dance, but
also taught me to mature in my personal life, since I could learn to express myself
freely, to understand people much more when teaching them. From my point of
view, I believe that dance is an art, with which we can express our feelings, meet
people, and enjoy a pleasant moment, either with our friends, family,
acquaintances, among others.
