Evidencia 6: Segmentation “Describing Potential Clients”

En la proyección de mercados, la segmentación permite identificar las necesidades y el


comportamiento de los consumidores para satisfacer sus deseos, teniendo en cuenta que la idea es
exportar el producto seleccionado a un país de habla inglesa ya establecido, entonces es importante
tener en cuenta el vocabulario y las estructuras necesarias en inglés para elaborar una adecuada
consulta y así lograr un mayor conocimiento de las necesidades y expectativas de los clientes, y con
ello obtener una mejor visión de lo que se pretende ofrecer al mercado internacional.Por lo anterior y
con la finalidad de cumplir con esta evidencia, desarrolle lo siguiente:

1.Resuelva en inglés las preguntas que se le presentan a continuación:

1. Where do you usually buy your cleaning products?

I usually buy cleaning products in stores and supermarkets near my house.

2. Do you consider yourself as a neat person? Why?

Yes, if I consider myself an orderly person, because I like to have control over every task or
responsibility that I carry out in my daily life or in my work, I think that orderly people have a
positive balance and control over their lives.

3. Do you feel satisfied with the cleaning products you buy? Why?

If I am satisfied with the cleaning products that I buy for my home, because they are recognized
brands in the market, they have a reasonable price and, in addition, they meet all the expectations of
use that I need.

4. What kind of cleaning product would you like it to be improved? Why?

The product that I would like you to improve is the fabric softener, because I do not see the expected
result in the garments, from the concentration of the aroma to preventing the clothes from wrinkling
and that is why we have to use the hot iron.

5. Mention 5 cleaning product brands you consider as the best ones.

the best brands of cleaning products in my concept are:


FAB powder detergent
Family brand of toilet paper, antibacterial gel, odor eliminator, tea towels, etc.
Bleach (whitex)
Liquid detergent (Ariel)
oxiclean (fabric bleach)

6. Which are the most important aspects to be taken into account to choose a cleaning
product brand?

To choose a cleaning product we must first look at the need we have to know what we should buy.
the price of the product, its effectiveness and quality.
7. Imagine you are promoting a new product. Describe it and write in ten lines the
reasons to convince your potential clients to buy your product

Preservative-free light cocoa cereal bars


It is a new product on the market, made with the best cocoa harvested in Colombian lands, which
makes its aroma and flavor special and unique.
Why should they buy this product?

Gives energy to those who consume it
can be consumed at any time of the day
its flavor is unique and unmistakable
produced under health and hygiene standards
satisfies the needs of those who buy it

Cocoa is an essential product in the family basket of each household, the type of population that is
especially aimed at people in the urban area, in Mexico there is a large population and this means that
the demand for said product may be greater, which will help us grow as a company and exporters to
that country.

Conclusions

Any social class can access to buy it, it is common to consume in every home and at any age, since it
is a product of universal demand especially for the Mexican market.

Cocoa is a product that is harvested and produced in Mexico that way, it is not enough to satisfy local
demand which also ranks it as one of the largest importers especially of the Colombian of higher
quality according to indicators and research.

Consumer loyalty is granted by each company committed to selling a unique and reliable product that
generates price-quality satisfaction to the customer, especially based on quantity, quality and delivery
times.
