ACTIVIDADES DE CIERRE
1. El facilitador proporciona un ejercicio de lectura de comprensión con el
tema de las preposiciones de lugar, donde los alumnos colocan el
nombre de cada lugar que le corresponda dentro de un pequeño mapa
proporcionado.
2. Como cierre de actividad los alumnos contestan un crucigrama para
tratar los tipos de frutas así como una sopa de letras con losa alimentos
mas comunes en inglés

MEANING
We use there is and there are when we want to say that something exists (or does not
exist):
Note that we often use there is with a/an and there are with some and any. A/an go
with singular, countable nouns. Some and any go with uncountable and plural nouns.
A/an and some are used in the affirmative. Any is used with questions and negative
statements:
Plural Noun Definition: When a noun means more than one, it is said to
be plural.
Examples: boys, girls, books, churches
Rule #1
The plural of nouns is usually formed by adding - s to a singular noun.
lamp lamps
cat cats
fork forks
flower flowers
pen pens
Rule #2
Nouns ending in s, z, x, sh, and ch form the plural by adding - es.
moss mosses
buzz buzzes
box boxes
dish dishes
church churches
Exercise: Write the plural of these words.
Rule #4
Nouns ending in y preceded by a vowel form their plurals by adding - s.
Example: boy, boys; day, days
Rule #5
Most nouns ending in o preceded by a consonant is formed into a plural by adding
es. Example: hero; heroes; grotto, grottoes
