El rbol mgico
Hace mucho tiempo, un nio paseaba por un prado en
cuyo centro encontr un rbol con un cartel que
deca: soy un rbol encantado, si dices las palabras
mgicas, lo vers.
El nio trat de acertar el hechizo, y prob
con abracadabra, supercalifragilisticoespialidoso, tan-ta-
ta-chn, y muchas otras, pero nada. Rendido, se tir
suplicante, diciendo: "por favor, arbolito!, y entonces, se
abri una gran puerta en el rbol. Todo estaba oscuro,
menos un cartel que deca: "sigue haciendo magia".
Entonces el nio dijo "Gracias, arbolito!, y se encendi
dentro del rbol una luz que alumbraba un camino hacia
una gran montaa de juguetes y chocolate.
El nio pudo llevar a todos sus amigos a aquel rbol y
tener la mejor fiesta del mundo, y por eso se dice siempre
que "por favor" y "gracias", son las palabras mgicas
El Cedro Vanidoso

Oyster and crab

fiera. En un descuido de los enanos, salio, de la casita y
dejo sobre la nieve un cesto de comida.
Al da siguiente ceso de nevar y se calmo el viento. Salio
la muchacha a dar un paseo y vio acercarse a un
cordero blanco, precioso.
Hola, hola! Dijo la nia. Quieres venir conmigo?
Entonces el cordero salto sobre Belinda y el lobo,
oculto se lanzo sobre el, alcanzndole una dentellada.
La astuta y maligna madrastra, perdi la piel del animal
con que se haba disfrazado y escapo lanzando
espantosos gritos de dolor y miedo.
Solo entonces el lobo se volvi al monte y Belinda sinti
su corazn estremecido, de gozo, mas que por haberse
salvado, por haber ganado un amigo.
The New Friend
