SITUACIÓN 2

Para iniciar la secuencia didáctica, tenía previsto implementar una mesa de

lecturas. Llevé varios libros, revistas y otros materiales que pensé que les
iban a interesar a los chicos y los puse sobre el escritorio. Se acercaron
interesados y fueron tomando lo que querían. Algunos se agruparon para
leer juntos, y otros lo hicieron de modo individual. Mientras iba recorriendo el
salón veía que varios solo miraban las imágenes. Al preguntarles de qué se
trataba el libro que estaban leyendo, varios se referían solo a las imágenes.
A dos les propuse leerles y luego de hacerlo, les pasé el libro y les pedí que
siguieran ellos, que yo los iba a escuchar. Pero al escucharlos leer me
sorprendí: leían muy lentamente.
 SITUACIÓN 2

‐ Preguntas para el análisis ¿Consideran que la lectura lenta,

poco fluida, tiene consecuencias para la comprensión? ¿Ven
alguna relación entre el hecho de que los chicos lean con
mucha lentitud y que en situaciones en que se les propone
leer solos se concentren casi exclusivamente en las
imágenes? ¿Consideran que la fluidez influye en el interés
y la buena disposición de los chicos a la hora de leer de
forma autónoma? ¿Por qué?
