Abstract
This report is made at the University of Cauca in the company of the Msc. Lissy Hurtado
Meneses, this practice consists of measuring the viscosity in liquids and observing what
aspects can influence its determination.
For this, oil, glycerin, pellets with an established diameter, containers with a specific
diameter and some other elements that can be useful in the process are used. The idea is
to take the time it takes to travel a certain distance for a pellet submerged in each liquid. ,
to then determine the viscosity of the liquid, taking into account the mass of the sphere,
volume of the sphere and density of the liquid.
The experience carried out brings us a little closer to the use of fluid properties and
allowed us to obtain theoretical bases about what viscosity is and how to measure it.
