A. DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL Y ESPECIFICACIONES TECNICAS.
Especificaciones técnicas:

Los pasos descritos arriba solamente pueden efectuarse por personal autorizado.
4. PARADA
• Presione el botón rojo STOP.
• El ventilador se para y la limpieza de filtros continuará durante 10 minutos adicionales. La
luz de ON parpadeará y se apagará al cabo de 10 minutos.
No corte la corriente eléctrica ni el suministro de aire comprimido antes de que finalice el ciclo
de limpieza de filtros.
• El polvo acumulado se descarga según necesidad. Sin embargo, el nivel de polvo no debe
nunca alcanzar el nivel de los cartuchos de filtro.
5. PARADA DE EMERGENCIA
• En caso de emergencia pulse el botón EMERCENCY STOP (PARADA DE
EMERGENCIA).
• La unidad parará inmediatamente.
• Para rearmar el botón de parada de emergencia, Gire el botón en el sentido de las agujas del
reloj hasta su posición normal.
• Reinicie el sistema según el procedimiento normal.
C. FUNCIONES AUTOMATICAS.
AVISO:
EN GENERAL:
Para asegurar un buen funcionamiento y una larga vida de la unidad, se recomienda que
se elabore un programa de inspecciones regulares por personal cualificado.
Mensualmente
- Compruebe que el ventilador no presente vibraciones anormales. Si esto ocurre
puede ser por las siguientes razones:
a) Acumulaciones de polvo en la turbina: Limpiar turbina
b) Turbina desequilibrada: Reequilibrar la turbina
c) Turbina desgastada: Sustituir por una nueva
d) Rodamientos del motor desgastados: Sustituir los rodamientos
- Compruebe el estado de los pies de vibración.
Mensualmente
- Compruebe que la tubería no presente fugas.
Diariamente
- Compruebe que la presión de suministro del aire comprimido sea de al menos de 5
bar y que no supere los 6 bar.
Semanalmente
- Compruebe el estado del manómetro. Sustitúyalo si no funciona correctamente.
- Examine completamente la instalación de suministro de aire comprimido.
Sustituya los elementos con fugas, daños o que no funcionen correctamente.
Las fugas pueden oirse mientras la unidad no está en funcionamiento.

Before you take the pressure switch into
operation, make sure to read these operating instruc-
tions thoroughly. In the event of damages due to the
non-observance of these instructions, improper operati-
on or use of the switch for purposes for which it is not in-
tended, the warranty becomes null and void. We shall not
be held liable for resultant consequential damages. The
switch is to be installed and removed by technicians
only.
The applicable certified national safety regulations for the
operation of pressure measuring devices shall be observed.
In the installed condition the respective device-specific re-
quirements on the type of protection must be fulfilled.
Note
With the safety cover removed, contact with ter-
minals 1, 2 and 3 poses a lethal C hazard (mains
power voltage)!

General
ral
Estas instrucciones de mando han sido eleaboradas de acuerdo con la Directiva de la UE
89/392/CEE (Directiva de maquinaria), impuesta en Dinamarca mediante la publicación de
La Inspección de Trabajo nº 561 del 24 de junio de 1994.
Las intrucciones son aplicadas a: Ventilador - directo, por correa y directo por
acoplamiento

2. Descripcion de la maquina
El ventilador Modelo DST es un ventilador de media-e alta presión, que se utiliza para el
transporte de virutas cortas de madera, polvo de lijado y pulido, polvo y otros aires con
contenido de polvo. El ventilador es también apropiado para humogas. El ventilador no se
debe utilizar para el transporte de desperdicios de madera compactos, virutas largas de
madera, polvo pegadizo, etc.
El ventilador Modelo CAT es un ventilador de baja presión que se utiliza para el transporte
de aire puro. El ventilador es también apropiado para humogas. El ventilador no debe
utilizarse para el transporte de aire con contenido de polvo.
3.1 Lubricación de cojinetes después del período de ensayo (sólo válido para
ventiladores por correa y de acoplamiento directo)
3.1.1 Cojinetes engrasados
Después del período de ensayo, los cojinetes deberán engrasarse según la cantidad de
grasa indicada en la especificación técnica del ventilador.

La duración calculada de las correas en V es de aprox. 6.000 horas. Antes de sobrepasar
este límite o si existen señales de desgaste, las correas deben sustituirse. El tipo de correa,
el tipo de polea y de el cierre cónico están indicados en la

colocadas en las poleas, éstas deberán ser tensadas según la tensión de correas indicada en
la especificación técnica, lo cual se realiza aumentando la distancia central. Controlar
seguidamente que los ejes sean paralelos y que las poleas no estén torcidas. Las poleas
deben estar montadas de tal manera que las correas se coloquen en ángulo recto con los
ejes.
Motores sin dispositivo de engrase: Los cojinetes se han instalado de tal manera que se
encuentran protegidos contra la entrada de polvo y humedad. Los cojinetes normalmente
están engrasados para un servicio de aprox. 40.000 horas, y durante el servicio no pueden
ser engrasados.
Motores con dispositivo de engrase: Los cojinetes están provistos de boquillas roscadas de
engrase a presión y tapas con válvulas de engrase, y deben engrasarse según indica el
esquema de engrase montado en el motor. Para evitar sobrecarga de los cojinetes, de ser
posible el engrase debe realizarse con el motor en servicio.
Si el servicio del ventilador produce temperaturas muy altas dentro del mismo, se debe
advertir contra el contacto.
Los cojinetes encapsulados sin necesidad de engrase normalmente giran con más dificultad
después de una larga conservación en condiciones extremas. Si al arrancar el ventilador se
comprueba a lo largo de 2 ó 4 minutos una subida de temperatura rápida (80â - 90â), los
cojinetes deben cambiarse.

Installation and
Maintenance Instructions
Safety: Before the beginning of any maintenance work, make sure that all machine
components are in a safety position and that they cannot be changed during
maintenance work. The safety instructions of the machine manufactuers must
be observed.

Check whether the pulley face width of the V-grooved pulleys is evenly dimensioned.
A possible existing deviation of the pulley face width has to be taken into consideration
correspondingly. With a symmetrical pulley face construction the distance to the guide
rail to the smaller face width is half of the deviation.

Installation and
Maintenance Instructions
Initial Installation
V-belts should be installed without using force. Installation using screwdrivers, crow-
bars etc. causes internal and external damage to the belt. V-belts installed by force may
in some instances only work for a few days. Correct installation of the belt saves time
and money.
If installation allowance is limited, it may be necessary to fit the belts to the pulleys and
then attach them to the shafts.
Belt tension
Belt tension values should follow Optibelt recommendations. Align the motor parallel
up to the stated belt tension. Carry out several belt revolutions and check static belt
tension again. Experience has shown that belt tension needs to be checked again after
0.5 to 4 hours and then corrected, if necessary. For further information on tensioning
gauges and how to use them see page 5.
Inspections
We recommend that the drive should be inspected regularly, e.g. after 3 to 6 months.
V-grooved pulleys should be checked for wear and tear and overall condition. As an
aid, you are advised to use the Optibelt section and pulley groove template.

When V-grooved pulleys with taper bush are being replaced, the following points should be noted:
1. Loosen all screws. According to bush size, completely unscrew one or two screws,
grease them and screw them into the proof test bores.
2. Tighten the screw or screws evenly until the bush comes out of the hub and the pulley
can move freely on the shaft.
3. Remove pulley with bush from the shaft.
