1. Estudio de Suelo. (Ver Documento adjunto)

2. Comportamiento histórico del río de los meses de agosto a noviembre.

Respuesta: Se encontrará información en la siguiente dirección por Internet:

3. En el pliego indica que deben remplazarse las cañerías pero no indica la longitud de los
caños a reemplazar, favor proporcionar esta información indicando posición de los
mismos.

Respuesta: A section approximately 500m wide will need to be replaced.

(Traducción: Aproximadamente se necesitará reemplazar una sección de 500metros de ancho.)

4. En caso de realizarse un nuevo tendido de los mismos indicar si se debería recuperar las
líneas anteriores y a partir de cuantos metros antes de la margen del río se debe intervenir
las líneas y a que profundidad se encuentran y cuál sería la nueva profundidad de las
mismas.

5. Respuesta: A survey is being performed to obtain the topography of the river and location and
depth of piping. This survey will not be ready for the end of the bid, however the lines are
approximately 4m below ground and all new lines will be required to be placed 4m below ground.
(Traducción: Se está llevando a cabo un levantamiento de información para obtener la topografía
del río y la ubicación y profundidad de la tubería. Este estudio no estará listo al término de esta
licitación, sin embargo las líneas estarán aproximadamente a 4 metros debajo del suelo, y se
requerirá que todas las líneas estén colocadas a 4 metros debajo del suelo.)

6. Necesitamos nos envíen el Perfil topográfico actual del río.

Respuesta: A survey is being performed to obtain the topography of the river and location and
depth of piping. This survey will not be ready for the end of the bid, so companies must prepare a
bid without this information.
(Traducción: Se está hacienda un levantamiento para botener la topografía del río y la ubicación y
profundidad de la tubería. Como este estudio no estará listo al término de esta licitación, las
empresas ofertantes deberán preparar sus propuestas sin esta información)

6. Confirmar si BG dará las líneas a intervenir libre de producto y en condiciones seguras para
realizar el trabajo.
Respuesta: BG will depressure the pipe; however it will be the responsibility of the contractor
to work with BGB Operations to purge and clean the pipe and prepare for cutting.
(Traducción: BG despresurizará la tubería, sin embargo será responsabilidad del Contratista que
trabaje en las operaciones de BGB el lavado y limpieza de la tubería y prepararla para el corte.)

7. Aclarar si se podrán intervenir las cuatro líneas en forma simultánea o hay alguna
restricción al respecto.
Respuesta: It will not be possible to cut and replace all pipes at the same time. They will need to be
replaced so as to allow production to continue (Eg: only one or two pipes interrupted at one time).
(Traducción: No será posible cortar y reemplazar toda la tubería al mismo tiempo. Es necesario
que sea reemplazada de manera de permitir el flujo continuo de la producción. –Ej.: solamente
1ó2 tuberías interrumpidas al mismo tiempo).

8. Aclarar si las cañerías a instalarse serán lastradas.

Respuesta: The 4" line will probably need ballasts, while the 8" line will probably not require them.
(Traducción: Posiblemente las tuberías de 4” necesiten ser lastradas, las de 8” posiblemente no lo
requieran).

9. Asumimos que las cañerías irán por la misma zanja, favor confirmar.

Respuesta: Not necessarily the same trench. As part of the scope of work of the engineering, it will
be the company's responsibility to recommend the best route for the river crossing to prevent any
future problems with the piping. This will then be agreed with BG Bolivia.
(Traducción: No irán necesariamente por la misma zanja. Como parte del Alcance de Trabajo de la
ingeniería, será responsabilidad de la Compañía Contratista el recomendar la mejor ruta para el
cruce del río y así prevenir cualquier problema futuro con la tubería. Esto luego será acordado con
BG Bolivia.

10. Así mismo solicitamos prorroga de 1 semana para el plazo de presentación de la licitación
de referencia.
Respuesta: As was mentioned previously, due to the time restriction in performing this work, we cannot
extend the deadline for submitting the tender.
(Traducción: Como se mencionó anteriormente, debido a restricciones de tiempo en la
realización de esta Obra, no podemos extender el plazo para la presentación de esta propuesta.)
