SO MANY BILLS TO PAY

Tantas facturas que pagar

It seems as if every month I have more and more bills to pay. I don't know how
that happens but each month there is a new bill to settle.

Parece como si cada mes tuviera más y más facturas que pagar. No sé cómo
pasa eso, pero cada mes hay una nueva factura que pagar.

The gas, the electricity, the phone, the internet, the mortgage… and then
there's the bill for fixing the boiler or for the new window that had to be put in,
another cable TV channel, a new pair of glasses, the house insurance and…
something is always going wrong with the car.

El gas, la electricidad, el teléfono, Internet, la hipoteca... y luego está la factura

para arreglar la caldera o para la nueva ventana que se tuvo que instalar, otro
canal de televisión por cable, un nuevo par de gafas, el seguro de la casa y ...
algo siempre va mal con el coche.

It's nothing but bills, bills, bills! My whole life is spent paying bills… it's just one
bill after another!

¡No son más que facturas, facturas, facturas! Toda mi vida la gasto pagando
facturas ... ¡es una factura tras otra!

Sometimes I dream that I don't have any bills to pay at all. I imagine that I don't
have to spend any money on all these things.

A veces sueño que no tengo ninguna factura que pagar. Me imagino que no
tengo que gastar dinero en todas estas cosas.

And at other times I even conjure up visions of, not only not having any money
taken off me for bills but, actually receiving payment instead.

Y en otras ocasiones incluso evoco visiones de, no sólo que no me quiten nada
de dinero por las facturas sino en su lugar recibir un pago.

And when I really get going I fantasise that I've received the amount that I'd
spent on the phone or the gas, and that I got paid what it had cost to repair the
boiler or get some new glasses. I'd be a millionaire!

Y cuando me animo de verdad, fantaseo que he recibido la cantidad que había

gastado en el teléfono o en el gas, y que me pagaron lo que me había costado
reparar la caldera o comprar unas gafas nuevas. ¡Sería millonario!

Aahh! It's all wishful thinking, but it can make you feel very happy dreaming
about the impossible .
¡Aahh !Es todo un deseo, pero puede hacerte sentir muy feliz soñar con lo
imposible.
