Robado

***I cannot believe it. I got robbed yesterday and I was totally oblivious. I didn't
realise someone had taken my sunglasses.

No me lo puedo creer. Me robaron ayer y estaba totalmente inconsciente. No

me di cuenta de que alguien se había llevado mis gafas de sol.

***I wasn't wearing them you see. They were hanging out of my back pocket.

No las llevaba puestas, sabes. Estaban colgando de mi bolsillo trasero.

***Yes, I know you are asking to be robbed if you have your sunglasses in your
pocket but I was talking on the phone and I was distracted. What a disaster!

Sí, sé que estás pidiendo que te roben si tienes tus gafas de sol en el bolsillo,
pero yo estaba hablando por teléfono y estaba distraído.¡Qué desastre!

***And I think I can pinpoint exactly the moment I got robbed.

***Because there was a guy behind me and he bumped into me.

***Then he rushed off very quickly across the road when the light was still red.
Of course it is all crystal clear to me now.

***But yesterday when it happened I didn't realise what was going on.

***I was waiting for the light to turn green and chatting away on my phone, so of
course I didn't notice the thief. It's a damned nuisance.

***If I had noticed at the time I could have said something. I could have shouted
out a few insults at least or I could even have chased after him.

Si hubiera notado en ese momento, podría haber dicho algo. podría haber

***Although I'm sure I wouldn't have managed to catch up with him… not at my
age.

***But I certainly would have yelled loudly and cursed him.
