ABSTRACT
This work exposes the application of the multisensory method in the process of acquisition
of reading and writing in the students of 1st grade of primary school at the Benito Juárez
school, in Pabellón de Hidalgo in the Rincón de Romos Municipality, Aguascalientes. To
investigate the subject, numerous bibliographies have been consulted that have allowed the
author to define key and updated concepts on the subject.
Through a quantitative study, the level of reading and writing skills was explored in 39
students. The results were processed through descriptive statistics represented by bar
graphs. A person-centered plan was designed, which favored the development of training
activities and the acquisition of reading and writing skills. The interactions between the
students, the researcher, the parents and the teachers, managed to demonstrate the
effectiveness of the multisensory method in the integral development of the children who
participated in this teaching-learning process.
