INVENTARIO, APROVECHAMIENTO Y ACONDICIONAMIENTO
RURAL PARA EL RECURSO TURÍSTICO “QORIWAYRACHINA” EN
LA COMUNIDAD DE CCOTAQUITE, APURÍMAC, PERÚ.
RESUMEN
The purpose of the research was: to describe and illustrate the inventory, the use and rural
conditioning for the tourist resource Qoriwayrachina, in the Community of Ccotaquite,
Apurímac, Peru. The approach was the qualitative, descriptive and illustrative design,
inductive method. The population and sample are a geomorphological system, located in the
annex of Ccotaquite, which integrates archaeological, ecological, experiential resources. The
relief of the ground is rugged, with an inclination of 25 to 35 degrees, semi-dry and dry
climates, between 3,200 to 3,900 meters above sea level. The archaeological site is contained
in a thin hill formed by the bed of two streams, which were used for the decantation of the
mineral. The accessibility is good, by the paved national highway, in addition to the
preservation of the carriageway and the Inca trail that has two accesses. The archaeological
site offers three different sectors: the first the administrative center and population, the second
the mineral decanting ponds and the third cemetery, characterized by burials in underground
chullpas. The place was damaged by 60% by forest plantations, in the decantation ponds
sector. The ability to take advantage of the archaeological site is two groups of maximum 10
people per day, to maintain the sighting of species, enjoy the landscape and environmental
preservation. It allows camping for days, hikking to the northeast and northwest to reach other
tourist resources, in addition to horseback riding. The location of the Ccotaquite annex is
favorable with a view to integrating landscape, tourism resource and housing with a vision of
environmental conservation.
