“Mapa Mental”

recicladas unidas (jamás en el cuaderno)

  OBSERVACIONES, SUGERENCIAS E INSTRUCCIONES: Usted deberá ver la
presentación de Power point enviada el 12 de noviembre, a fin de estudiar las
estructuras propias del tiempo presente simple con el verbo “To Be”. Asimismo,
deberá leer el texto adjunto, con el cual realizará en “mapa mental” utilizando hojas
blancas nuevas o recicladas y, siguiendo las normas propias de esta estrategia.
Recuerde que al ser “Mapa Mental” éste deberá contener imágenes (dibujos). Usted
podrá usar recortes de revistas/ periódicos, podrá imprimirlas, dibujarlas o
colorearlas- según sus posibilidades-. La actividad es manuscrita, todo el contenido
desarrollado debe ir escrito en inglés. Sea creativo al momento de distribuir las
letras y el material en la hoja. Deberá trabajarla de forma horizontal. Además, por
ser el primer mapa mental a realizar en la asignatura se le facilitarán las
ramificaciones que desarrollará en su producción. Como en esta unidad se estudió el
verbo “TO BE”, las respuestas deben seguir dichas estructuras (Subject + verb+
complements y subject+ verb+ not+ complements)
Le sugiero usar el diccionario para consultar el significado y traducción de
palabras desconocidas, ya que el traductor de internet no es confiable, pues hay que
conocer estructuras gramaticales para producir textos coherentes; por lo que, si
usted utiliza esta herramienta acepte la calificación y sugerencias que la docente le
otorgue en la corrección.
Finalmente, esta actividad es de carácter SUMATIVA y usted deberá entregarla
-siguiendo las especificaciones anexas arriba- éstas deberán estar engrapadas, bien
identificadas con sus datos personales, grado y sección.

Nota: queridos representantes se agradece no resolver la actividad de sus

hijos, pues ellos deben ser responsables y estar comprometidos con su proceso de
aprendizaje… oriéntelo durante su desarrollo, sin transgredir las pautas.

HARRY POTTER’S “MOTHER”

 Joanne Murray, known as Joanne Kathleen Rowling is a British woman, born on July
31st, 1965 in Yate, United Kingdom. Actually she is 55 years old. She was married with
Jorge Arantes which had a daughter: Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes and they divorced in
1995. In 1997she married with Neil Murray and she had 2 children: David Gordon
Rowling Murray and Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray. Her favorite subject is English so
she writes her stories in this language. Joanne is a fabulous writer and philanthropist. She
wrote her first book when she was about six, and since then, she has not stopped creating
incredible stories.

Nowadays, Joanne is one of the most popular author of kid’s books. She is the
“mother” of the famous Harry potter series (1997), selling more than 500 million copies
around the world and receiving multiple awards. The global Harry Potter brand is
estimated to be worth £7 billion. In one interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2010 she
said that an 8th book of Harry Potter is a possibility. The books are the basis of a popular
film series, over which Rowling had overall approval on the scripts. Other tittles of her
books are: “Casual Vacancy”, “Cuckoo’s calling”, “Cormoran Strike series”

Joanne is one of the richest women in Britain. She affirms that she is doing what she
loves to do and that she feels motivated by the enthusiasm of the readers.
