Los cognados son palabras que son similares en inglés y español. Su similitud puede estar en su

forma escrita o su pronunciación. Reconocer estas palabras en un texto facilita las cosas para el

lector. Los cognados pueden ser nombres, fechas y figuras.

The coffee shrub, an evergreen bush which can sometimes grow to a height of 8 or 10 meters,
