RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
The animal physiology laboratory dealt with anesthesiology and how it influences the behavior of
fish; For this, it was necessary to take into account the different types of anesthetics such as
acetylsalicylic acid, Eugenol, tranquillize, rompun, xylazine, which proved to have a lethal dose.
Bearing in mind that anesthesia by dissolution is adequate to carry out the manipulation of the
fish, since it prevents the animal from becoming stressed and is also favorable for its recovery,
continuing with the concern of monitoring the fish while it is submerged in the water with the
anesthetic preparation because if you leave it for a long time, you run the risk that your gill
movement will stop, thus leading to your death by suffocation.
