Purpose : Reconoce el presente perfecto en inglés para


hablar de situaciones que iniciaron en el pasado pero
aún tienen relevancia en el presente

TEACHING
PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
USO
El presente perfecto se usa para indicar acciones que ocurrieron en un
tiempo no concreto antes de ahora. El tiempo específico no es importante.
Por lo tanto, no solemos usar expresiones de tiempo específicas (“this
morning”, “yesterday”, “last year”…) con el presente perfecto.
Se puede usar el presente perfecto con expresiones de tiempo no concretas
(“never”, “ever”, “for”, “since”, “already”, “yet”…). Este concepto de tiempo no
específico.
usamos el presente perfecto para situaciones que han empezado en el
pasado pero siguen en el presente.
Example Our team has played 4 games this year. (nuestro equipo ha
jugado 4 partidos este año)

Structure (Estructura)
1. Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to have) + participio pasado
We have [We’ve] gone to London three times (Nosotros hemos
ido a londres tres veces)

2. Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)


Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to have) + “not” + participio pasado…

We have not gone to London yet. (Nosotros todavía no


hemos ido a londres)

3. Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)
Verbo auxiliar (to have) + sujeto + participio pasado…?

EXPRESIONES DE TIEMPO EN EL PRESENTE PERFECTO
ever, never, already, yet, for, since,
 Ever Se usa ever en preguntas y significa alguna vez. Se usa la
estructura de la pregunta y se coloca ever en medio del pronmbre
personal y el participio pasado
Have you ever gone to the United States? (¿Alguna vez has ido a
Estados Unidos?)

Never
We use "never" in affirmative sentences: but the meaning is negative y
significa nunca. (se usa never en frases afirmativas pero su significado
es negativo) Se coloca en medio del auxiliary y el participio pasado del
verbo.
I have never gone to the United States. (nunca he ido a Estados
Unidos)
 Already We use "already" to express that something has happened
sooner than expected. (para indicar que algo ha pasado antes de lo
esperado) y significa ya. Se coloca entre el verbo auxiliar Have y el
verbo en participio.
Se usa already solo en afirmaciones no en preguntas ni en
negaciónes

I have already gone to the United States. (yo ya he ido a Estados


Unidos)

Yet We use "yet" in interrogative and negative sentences


(sugiere un tiempo más tarde de lo esperado.) significa ya o
todavía
se usa solo en frases interrogativas y significa ya. Y en frases
negativas ignifica todavía. Se coloca al final de la frase.
Have you gone to the United States yet? (Ya has ido a Estados
Unidos?)
I haven´t gone to the United States yet. (yo todavía no he ido
a Estados Unidos)
for -- since
La preposición “for” se usa para expresar la duración de una
acción, el periodo de una acción o un evento. (Periodo de
tiempo). Significa durante o por
I have lived here for 8 months”. He vivido aquí durante 8 meses.

 Since La preposición “since” se usa para indicar un


momento a partir del cual la acción continúa. (momento
específico). Significa desde
“I haven’t seen them since 2012”. No los he visto desde el 2012.
Just normalmente se usa con el presente perfecto. Se suele
usar para expresar un momento que ha ocurrido hace poco
tiempo. Es equivalente en español a acabar de + infinitivo.
colocamos just entre has/have y el participio pasado
She has just gone to the supermarket (ella acaba de irse al
supermercado)
