Future Simple will

Hay dos formas principales para expresar el futuro. A veces son intercambiables,
pero a menudo pueden tener significados diferentes. Son be going to y will.

Structure (Estructura) Nota: Existe una forma corta del verbo modal
“will” tanto en el afirmativo como en el negativo.

1. Affirmative Sentences (Oraciones afirmativas)

Sujeto + “will” + verbo principal+ complemento.

Ejemplos:
- I will call you tonight.(To Te llamaré esta noche.)

She will arrive late.(Llegará tarde.) o She’ll arrive late

They will be happy to see you.(Estarán felices de verte.) /[They’ll be happy

to see you

2. Negative Sentences ( oraciones negativas)

Sujeto + “will” + “not” + verbo principal+ complemento.

Ejemplos:
I will not call you tonight.(Yo No te llamaré esta noche.) / I [won’t] call you
tonight

She will not arrive late.(Ella No llegará tarde.)

They will not be happy to see you.(Ellos No estarán felices de verte.)

 3. Interrogative Sentences (Oraciones interrogativas)
“Will” + sujeto + verbo principal + complement?

Ejemplos:
Will you call me tonight?(¿Me llamarás esta noche?)

Will she arrive late?(¿Llegará ella tarde?)

Will they be happy to see you?(¿Estarán ello felices de verte?)

Uses (Usos)

Las formas “will” y “going to” se utilizan para expresar el futuro. La diferencia entre
“going to” y “will” es el sentido de planificación y probabilidad de que suceda
una acción. En general, se usa “going to” para planes concretos, cuando estamos
seguros de que algo va a suceder.

1. Se usa “will” con acciones voluntarias.

Ejemplos:
Will you help me move?(¿Me ayudarás a mudarme?)

They will clean their rooms.(Limpiarán ellos sus habitaciones.)

She won’t work with Paul.(Ella No trabajará con Paul.)

2. Se utiliza “will” para expresar una promesa.

Ejemplos:
When I am president, I will lower taxes.(Cuando yo sea presidente, bajaré los
impuestos.)

He promises he will call when he arrives.(El Promete que llamará cuando

llegue.)

2.- Write a paragraph and talk about your Future vacations. (Escribe un párrafo y
habla sobre tus futuras vacaciones) Usa la estructura WILL. Valor 4 pts.

3.-Realiza un Poster (lo puedes realizar en una lámina de power point, canvas o
genially) donde uses 5 o 6 imágenes, con 5 o 6 oraciones claves de que quieres ser
en tu futuro: 7 pts.
