INTRODUCCION:

GRAMMAR

THE FIRST CONDITIONAL

Un condicional es una oración o parte de una oración que expresa una

condición. Normalmente empieza con las palabras: “WHEN”, “IF” y
“UNLESS” (First conditional)
Para formar este condicional, usaremos el presente simple para la cláusula
y el futuro simple para el resultado, esto es: 

Structure:
IF + PRESENT+ WILL+ V(infinitive) El IF se puede reemplazar por when y
unless.

Una condición es lo que debe pasar antes de que ocurra otra cosa.

EXAMPLES:

 I will go IF I have enough time. (Yo iré sí tengo tiempo) El que pueda ir,
tiene una condición.

If I practice every day, Iwill pass my Speaking exam.(Si practico todos los
dias, pasaré el examen oral) La condición para ganar el exámen, es
practicar todos los días.

1. Unless she agrees to pay us we will not take the job. (A menos que ella
aceda a pagarnos, no aceptaremos el trabajo). La condición es que ella
debe prometer pagarnos, antes de que aceptemos el trabajo.

If I study Law, I will be a famous Lawyer.(Si studio leyes, sere un famoso

abogado) La condició para ser un famoso aboogado, es que estudie leyes.

1. Si no te das prisa, llegarás tarde:

        If you don't hurry, you'll be late.

2. Si me gano la lotería, viajaré alrededor del mundo.

        i win the lottery, i will travel around the world.

3. Si el no estudia, no pasará el examen.

If he does not study, he will not pass the exam.

4. Si tengo tiempo, visitaré a mi abuela

         
         f I have time, I will visit my grandmother

5. Si te sientes enfermo, tomarás la medicina.

          if you feel sick, you will take the medicine

6. Si ellos no vienen aquí, tendremos que ir a casa.

If they don't come here, we'll have to go home.

7. Si hago ejercicio, bajaré de peso.

      
        If I exercise, I will lose weight.

PRESENTACION:

Negaciones y preguntas en primer condicional

Las negaciones del primer condicional se hacen con will not o bien la
forma corta won’t.
If he calls me, I won’t answer.
If I fail the test, I won’t finish university.
If you eat something now, you won’t be hungry later.

También pueden formarse con una negación de la parte con “if”, o con una
negación de los dos lados. Depende de lo que quieres decir.
If you don’t eat something now, you’ll be hungry later.
If he doesn’t call, I’ll be very angry!
If you don’t pass the test, you won’t finish university.
If it doesn’t rain, we’ll go for a walk.

Las preguntas en primer condicional se forman como una pregunta normal

con will:
What will you do if you fail your test?
Where will you go if you move out of you parents’ house?
What will you say if she asks for your opinion?

Completa las siguientes oraciones con el tiempo verbal correspondiente

según sea el caso:

1. If his friends come (come), he will (be) extremely happy. (Si sus amigos

4. His parents will be (be) upset if he doesn´t pass (not/pass) the

exam. (Sus padres XXX muy molestos si él XXX el examen)

5. If I pay (pay) today, you will owe (owe) me some money then. (Si XXX
hoy, me XXX dinero después)
