UNIT I EXPRESA COMPORTAMIENTO EN SITUACIONES HIPOTÉTICAS
Zero Conditional - (Type Zero) - Situación siempre verdadera If you freeze water, it
turns into ice. First Conditional - (Type I) -Situación real o posible If it rains today,
I'll stay at home. Second Conditional - (Type II) - Situación hipotética If I won the
lottery, I would travel around the world. Third Conditional - (Type III) - Situación
hipotética del pasado If I had won the lottery, I would have traveled around the
world. If sentence in past perfect, sentence would perfect present.
If we had planted several trees, we would have gotten a better climate.

examen.)

We must take some safe tips before to repair a PC. Our machine
contain delicate pieces and a static charge may burn it. To avoid this,
we must begin to do some precautions. Firstly, the cabinet from the PC
14
must be grounded in attemption to derivate any discharge to a safe
place. Also we must be grounded. We can make a cleaning and
repairing with nude hand, however, we are always with the risk to give
an static electricity discharge, damaging the board, although we don’t
see or hear something. In order to avoid this, we must use an antistatic
wrist strap that we connect in the cabinet. Then, we should touch the
cabinet to discharge any electric charge we have. In the second place,
whenever it may be possible, or better, always, must use latex gloves.
The next step is to use compress air. This is important because this
bottled air is humidity free, something important to avoid statics and
oxide in the main board or other parts; also because it is under
pressure, ready to remove dust in any corner or nook. Finally, we must
use the appropriate tools to assemble or disassemble the system, to
avoid damages.

ESTRUCTURA GRAMATICAL

Prefer / hate + verb (infinitive)
¿Vendrían ustedes? }
33
Would rather va seguido de infinitivo sin to, por tanto, si quiero decir “preferiría/
prefiero irme”, puedo decirlo de dos maneras:
1) I would rather go = como ves, sujeto + would rather + infinitivo sin to.
2) I would prefer to go = sujeto + would prefer + infinitivo con to.
prefiero, etc.
Más ejemplos:
I would rather go to Greece for my holidays = prefiero ir a Grecia de vacaciones, por
ejemplo: I would rather not tell you what I really think = preferiría no decirte lo que
realmente pienso.

Entonces, utilizaremos los pronombres relativos: "who / which /that" para formular
39
1.- I work with people who are responsible.
(Yo trabajo con personas que son responsables)
4.- My son doesn't play video games which contain violent scenes
anteriores.
4.- My son doesn't play video games that contain violent scenes
pronombre relativo adecuado.
Ejemplos:
I saw some good computers at the store. The computers were cheap.
I saw some good computers at the store that were cheap.
I don't like cell phone games. Cell phone games are not challenging.
I don't like cell phone games that are not challenging.
2.- Is there any social network which doesn't steal your personal data?
