1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar que el contenido coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la Lista de embalaje. Si se observa algn componente daado o la ausencia de alguno avisar rpidamente al distribuidor. 2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamente, este manual de instrucciones. 3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del aparato y deben estar disponibles a todos los usuarios del equipo. 4) Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada contactando con el servicio tcnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a. 5) ATENCIN! If any part is damaged or missing, please advise the distributor immediately. 2) Do not install or use the equipment without reading this handbook before. 3) This handbook must always be attached to the equipment and it must be available for all users. 4) If you have any doubts or enquiries, please contact with your supplier or J.P. Selectas technical service. 5) IMPORTANT! J.P. DESCRIPCIN DEL EQUIPO

Construccin enteramente metlica: Armazn tubular de Fe. Mueble exterior fabricado en aleacin de Dur-Al. Cubeta interior y contratapa en Acero inox. Cmara de seguridad de Acero, entre la cubeta interior y el mueble. - Ruedas para facilitar su transporte. - Fijacin de la centrfuga a la superficie de trabajo mediante cuatro soportes de goma (silent-blocks) que le confieren un buen agarre y facilitan el nivelado de la mquina. -
EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
All metal construction: Internal tubular Iron frame. External case made of Dur-Al alloy. Bowl and lid interior made of stainless steel. Internal steel safety chamber between the bowl and the external case. - Wheels for easy locating of the equipment. - To facilitate the leveling of the centrifuge, four silent blocks and adjustable feet ensure a fixed position of the unit.

Grupo motriz: Motor asncrono de alta frecuencia libre de mantenimiento (carece de colector y escobillas). Cabezales, vasos y adaptadores debidamente identificados con sistema de grabado inalterable por lser para una ptima eleccin. Campana Cortavientos que reduce la friccin de los vasos interiores y mejora su refrigeracin. Aislamiento interno que absorbe ruidos y vibraciones. Suspensin elstica del motor que garantiza un funcionamiento suave con amortiguadores radiales. Grupo compresor semihermtico montado sobre acoplamiento antivibratorio con evaporador circundante a la cubeta interior de la centrfuga. Paro de emergencia : Circuito totalmente independiente del grupo principal que permite parar la mquina en caso de emergencia.

INSTALACIN
La centrfuga se suministra con cuatro bridas laterales a fin de facilitar su embragado. Recordamos que el peso de la mquina es de 429 Kg.
INSTALLATION
The centrifuge comes complete with four lifting supports, for positioning the unit. Note that the unit weighs 429 Kg
Colocar la centrfuga sobre un superficie plana y horizontal. Dejar un espacio de unos 15cms entre los laterales y la parte posterior de la mquina para facilitar la refrigeracin. Una vez instalada la mquina sacar las bridas laterales y colocar los tapones que se suministran a tal efecto.
Position the centrifuge on a horizontal flat plane. Leave a gap of 15 cm around the instrument to permit the flow of air to the refrigeration unit.
Once the unit is in position remove the lifting supports, and push the hole caps into place as shown in the picture.
Mediante los 4 topes de goma ajustar de forma que quede la mquina levantada de las ruedas y nivelada.
Adjust the 4 levelling feet on the rubber supports so that the unit is raised and does not rest on the wheels, check and adjust until level

Sacar los tapones de apertura manual.
Remove the plug caps to allow the unit to be opened manually.
Abrir la puerta de la mquina tirando de los cables.
Open the lid manually by pulling the two cords, one on each side of the unit as shown
Sacar todos los rellenos de proteccin del interior de la cuba. Verificar que no queden restos de embalaje en su interior.
Remove all of the packing material and protection from the inside of the chamber. Check that no packing material remains in the unit.
Antes de colocar el cabezal oscilante comprobar que las chabetas de arrastre estn debidamente alojadas.
Before locating the rotor, check that the locking ring wedge is in the correct position.

Colocar en el eje el cabezal oscilante procurando que estn perfectamente alineados las chabetas y sus alojamientos y que entre perpendicular en el eje. El cabezal tiene que entrar de forma suave, no es necesario el uso de mazas o martillos.
Locate the rotor onto the support spindle, making sure that it fits perpendicular without tilting the rotor. The rotor should slide on easily. DO NOT USE A MALLET OR HAMMER.
Colocar la arandela.
Place the washer spacer into position
Colocar y apretar la tuerca al cabezal.
Screw on the locking nut in place and tighten using the spanner provided.
Apretar los tornillos de bloqueo de la tuerca.
Tighten the allen screws on the locking nut block.

Colocar vasos.
Place all the buckets into their positions.
Colocar la tapa cortavientos en el soporte de la parte frontal.
Place the windshield onto the support on the front of the equipment. Never use the equipment without placing the windshield onto the rotor.
Para poner y sacar la tapa cortavientos sujetar la tapa segn foto y girar la tuerca central ya sea en sentido horario para ponerla o antihorario para sacarla.
To put on and take out the windshield, place it as in the photograph and turn the central nut clockwise to put it or anti-clockwise to take it out.
Para facilitar la extraccin de la tapa sujetarla segn foto y tirar hacia arriba.
For an easy windshield extraction, hold it as in the photograph and pull up.

Conectar el equipo a la red asegurndose previamente que la tensin de suministro coincide con la indicada en la placa de caractersticas de la mquina.
Connect the equipment to the main power, checking that the power is the same as indicated on the specification plac found at the back of the instrument.
Es recomendable intercalar un interruptor seccionador.
It is recommended that a circuit breaker be installed.

No utilice en equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.
Do not use the equipment if it is not connected to earth.
Para un normal funcionamiento la temperatura ambiente de trabajo debe de estar comprendida entre 10C y 40C, con una humedad mxima del 80%.
For normal operation, ambient working temperature parameters should be between 10C and 40C, with a maximum humidity level of 80%
No instalar la centrfuga en zonas donde se almacenen productos inflamables o en reas de proteccin especial.
Do not install the centrifuge in areas where flammable liquids are stored or special protection areas.
No utilizar la mquina para centrifugar lquidos susceptibles de formar mezclas explosivas o inflamables.
Do not use the machine to centrifuge liquids which are susceptible of forming explosive mixtures.
No desplazar nunca la centrfuga estando en funcionamiento.
Never move the centrifuge while in operation.
No abrir nunca de forma manual la tapa de la centrfuga estando sta en funcionamiento.
Never manually open the centrifuge lid if the unit is in motion.

La velocidad mxima grabada en el cabezal est calculada para centrifugar fluidos de una densidad mxima de 1.2gr/cm 3. Para centrifugar fluidos de densidades superiores a 1.2gr/cm 3 la velocidad mxima del cabezal se debe disminuir segn la siguiente frmula:
The maximum engraved speed of the rotor is shown on the rotor and is calculated based on the centrifugation of liquids with a maximum density of 1.2gr/cm 3. Vigilar peridicamente el estado del cabezal y sus vasos a fin de poder detectar posibles indicios de corrosin, grietas, fisuras o de deformaciones mecnicas.
Examine periodically the state of the rotor, buckets and adapters, to check and detect possible corrosion, micro fractures or mechanical deformation.
Llenado de vasos Una vez llenados los vasos, antes de colocarlos en el cabezal, verificar que el peso de los mismos no difieran como mximo en 15 gramos.
Bucket filling Once the buckets are filled, before placing them in to the rotor, verify that they weight dont differ in more than 15 gr..
Emergency Stop Paro de emergencia En caso de tener que parar la mquina de forma rpida accionar el botn (18) del panel frontal. In the case that you require to stop the centrifuge quickly, push the button number (18) located on the front panel. Note: Do not uses this stop button for normal use. Only to be used in the case of an emergency.
Observaciones: No utilizar este botn como forma de paro habitual. Slo se debe accionar en caso de emergencia.

Puesta en marcha 1 Accionar el interruptor general (17). 2 Accionar el pulsador (12) de apertura de puerta. 3 Sacar la tapa protectora del cabezal. 4 Colocar las bolsas de sangre o los tubos en los adaptadores asegurndose que todos tengan el mismo peso. Si no se utilizan todos los vasos tener presente que la distribucin de la carga debe de hacerse de forma equidistante a fin de evitar desequilibrios. 5 Cuando se utilicen bolsas de sangre comprobar que todos los tubos y dems accesorios queden dentro del vaso para que ste pueda girar con total libertad. 6 Colocar la tapa protectora del cabezal. 7 Cerrar la tapa ejerciendo una ligera presin a ambos lados. Al cerrar la tapa de la centrfuga sta detecta si se ha colocada la tapa protectora del cabezal; de no ser as aparece en el display NO WINDSHIELD. 8 Establecer los parmetros de trabajo. Configuracin / Configuration:
Starting up 1 2 3 4 Turn on the main switch (17). Press the button (12) to open the lid. Remove the wind shield lid. Position the blood bags or tubes into the adapters or buckets, make sure that the weight is evenly distributed and balanced. If all of the buckets are not used, ensure that opposing buckets are of equal weight to prevent imbalance of the rotor.
5 When using blood bags ensure that all of the tubes and accessories on the blood bag are within the bucket so that the rotor can rotate freely. 6 Relocate the wind shield cover into position. 7 Close the lid by pushing down with reasonable pressure until to hear the lid lock click. ( Do not Slam the lid). Once the lid is closed, the unit detects the wind shield cover , if it is not in place a display message will be shown NO COVER ROTOR 8 Establish the working parameters.

9 Poner en marcha presionando el pulsador (15). En el display aparecer START y RAMP, al llegar a la velocidad de consigna desaparece RAMP y aparece SET SPEED. Cambiar la configuracion durante la marcha.
9 Start up by pressing button (15). The display will show START and RAMP, when it arrives at selected temperature, RAMP disapears and SET SPEED appears. Changing of the configuration during the start up.

10 Parar la mquina presionando el pulsador (14). En caso de trabajar por tiempo predefinido el rotor se parar automticamente transcurrido el tiempo establecido. Durante el proceso de frenado aparece en el display BRAKE y al final del mismo STOP.

10.- Stop the centrifuge by pressing button (14). If a time has been fixed for disconnection the machine will stop, when this time has passed. During the brake phase the display will show BRAKE and at the end will be shown STOP.

CAUSAS Durante el funcionamiento la mquina ha quedado sin energa elctrica, ya sea por: - Desenchufe accidental de la mquina. - Paro de la mquina por el interruptor antes de pulsar STOP. - Fallo fusible. ROTOR FAIL (2) Fallo lectura cabezal. CAUSAS - Error de lectura. - La mquina no tiene el cabezal instalado. - Fallo del sensor del cabezal. - Fallo del circuito sensor de la tapa. - Fallo conexiones circuito sensor. - Fallo del circuito control. DOOR OPEN (1) Puerta abierta. CAUSAS - Fallo cierre. - Puerta mal cerrada. UNBALANCED (1) Desequilibrio del rotor. CAUSAS Carga en el rotor desequilibrada: - Tubos llenos de forma desigual. - Alojamientos vacos. - Rotor flojo. - Mal asentamiento de la mquina. EEPROM FAIL (3) Error de lectura de los programas. CAUSAS Fallo del microprocesador. CONTROL FAIL (3) Fallo de funcionamiento del variador de velocidad. CAUSAS - Fallo pack de potencia. - Fallo tacmetro. - Fallo motor. - Fallo conexiones. - Fallo microprocesador. OVER TEMP (3) Sobrepasa la temperatura.
Alarms POWER FAIL (1) Mains failure when the centrifuge is working. CAUSES While the centrifugue was working, the power has gone off, because of: Accidental unplugged. The centrifugue was switched off before pressing STOP. Fuse failure. ROTOR FAIL (2) Reading rotor failure. CAUSES Reading error. The rotor is not installed. Rotor sensor failure. Fuse failure. Circuit sensor connections failure. Control circuit failure. DOOR OPEN (1) Open door / lid. CAUSES Lid lock error. Lid not closed properly. UNBALANCED (1) Unbalanced head. CAUSES Unbalanced load in rotor. Tubes not filled to the same level. Opposing buckets empty. Loose rotor. Centrifugue not level. EEPROM FAIL (3) Program reading failure. CAUSES Microprocessor failure. CONTROL FAIL (3) Speed control failure. CAUSES Power pack failure. Tachometer failure. Motor failure. Connections failure. Microprocessor failure. OVER TEMP Overheating. (3)

Restablecimiento de las alarmas (1) Abriendo y cerrando la tapa. En caso de desequilibrio verificar el llenado de tubos. (2) Colocando cabezal. Abriendo y cerrando la tapa. Limpiando la parte superior de la tuerca del cabezal (Contacto sensor). (3) Avisar servicio tcnico.
Alarms reset (1) Opening and closing the lid. In case of unbalance, check the tube filling. (2) Place the head. Opening and closing the lid. Clean the upper side of the head nut (Sensor contact). (3) Call technical service. (4) Select an adequated program for the head.
Apertura de emergencia En caso de que se interrumpa el fluido elctrico y haya necesidad de abrir la tapa, seguir las siguientes indicaciones: 1. Asegurarse que el cabezal no est en movimiento. 2. Tirar de los topes laterales segn pg.8.
Emergency opening In case of an interruption in the electricity power, the lid can be opened using the manual overide:
1. Wait untils the rotor has stoped rotating. 2. Pull down the cords as in page 8.

MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de quitar la tapa de la centrfuga para manipular en su interior desconecte la toma de red. La manipulacin de los circuitos electrnicos internos de la centrfuga por personal no autorizado puede provocar daos de difcil reparacin. Asegrese de llevar el equipo a uno de los servicios tcnicos autorizados por J.P. SELECTA, s.a. Revisar mensualmente la fijacin del cabezal oscilante. Para su inspeccin proceder de la siguiente forma: 1. Sacar la tapa protectora del cabezal. 2. Con la llave allen suministrada aflojar los tornillos (ver foto).
MAINTENANCE
Before removing the casing disconnects the apparatus from the mains. The manipulation of the internal electronic circuits of the centrifuge by unauthorized personnel can cause irreparable damages. Take it to one of the J.P.SELECTA authorized technical services. Check on a monthly basis the fixing nut on the top of the rotor. Continue to inspect the following:
1. Remove the wind shield protective lid. 2. Using the Allen key supplied, loosen the screws indicated in the photo below.
3. Con la llave fija suministrada verificar el apriete de la tuerca ejerciendo presin segn el sentido de las agujas del reloj (ver foto).
3. Using the spanner provided, check that the screw is tight, by holding the rotor and tighten clockwise (see photo).
4. Vigilar peridicamente el estado del cabezal y sus vasos a fin de poder detectar posibles indicios de corrosin o de deformaciones mecnicas.
4. Check periodically the state of the rotor and buckets to check for corrosion, deformities or micro fractures.

LIMPIEZA: Para la limpieza de las diferentes piezas de los aparatos, recomendamos los siguientes productos: Limpieza del acero inoxidable: Alcohol. Limpieza de cartulas y plsticos: Alcohol con algodn o con un pao no abrasivo. Limpiar con un cepillo o un aspirador las aletas del condensador situado en la parte posterior.

Clean with a brush or vacuum cleaner the fan blades and filter situated in the back of the equipment
