INTRODUCCION
Al realizar una investigación más profunda respecto a las
dimensiones COVID-19 y afectaciones psicológicas se pudo
observar que los jóvenes son una población que no se ha
tomado mayor énfasis en el Ecuador, siendo así surge mayor
interés por investigar en un contexto estudiantil dando lugar a
próximas investigaciones e intervenciones (Valero, Mina,
Veliz, Merchán, Perozo, 2020).
 Mencionan algunos autores que explican las
dimensiones estudiadas como son: covid-19,
cuarentena, salud mental, ansiedad, depresión,
factores de riesgo (académico, económico, familiar
y personal). Por lo tanto para recabar la
información se utilizó instrumentos como revisión
bibliográfica, aplicación del inventario de Beck
para ansiedad y depresión, así también, una
encuesta con los estudiantes de segundo y tercero
de bachillerato del Colegio Nacional Santa Isabel

por coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2),
denominado así por la Organización
Mundial de la Salud (OMS) el 11 de
febrero de 2020 es el agente
etiológico de la enfermedad por
coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19)
Cabe mencionar que dicha situación puede
agravar los síntomas de ansiedad y depresión
en personas más vulnerables o con algún
diagnóstico de enfermedad mental por tal
motivo es importante estar alerta a esta
situación actual.
 Según Alzueta et al., (2020) manifiesta que a nivel mundial los efectos
psicológicos más representativos experimentados a raíz de la pandemia son los
siguientes: el 68,5% de la población presento estrés postraumático, seguido de un
25% que manifestaron depresión y un 19,5% de la población ansiedad. Del mismo
modo se puede decir que la pandemia ha afectado fuertemente el sector educativo
debido a las medidas tomadas por los gobiernos. (págs. 6-9).
Otro estudio realizado durante la pandemia en la Universidad Pública de
Perú da cuenta de la presencia de depresión en 45,9% de sus
estudiantes, con más incidencia en mujeres que en hombres.
Respecto a la ansiedad se encontró ansiedad en un 65,2% de los
participantes (Apaza, Sanz, & Arévalo, 2020, pág. 406).
 Por otro lado, investigaciones anteriores se han centrado en
analizar factores que estén asociados al desarrollo de afecciones
psicológicas como la ansiedad y la depresión en la población
universitaria, siendo oportuno mencionar algunos de ellos.

Cuáles son los factores que influyen en el desarrollo
de cuadros de ansiedad y depresión durante la pandemia
por Covid-19 en estudiantes de segundo y tercero de
bachillerato del Colegio de santa Isabel, año lectivo 2021-
2022.
 JUSIFICACION

Los diferentes factores: académico, familiar, y personal

pueden estar asociados en el desarrollo de trastornos de
ansiedad y depresión en universitarios han sido expuestos
en estudios realizados por Martínez y Pérez, (2014)
“Ansiedad en estudiantes universitarios: estudio de una
muestra”, entre otros. No obstante, se ha encontrado
