INTRODUCCION
Al realizar una investigación más profunda respecto a las
dimensiones COVID-19 y afectaciones psicológicas se pudo
observar que los jóvenes son una población que no se ha
tomado mayor énfasis en el Ecuador, siendo así surge mayor
interés por investigar en un contexto estudiantil dando lugar a
próximas investigaciones e intervenciones (Valero, Mina,
Veliz, Merchán, Perozo, 2020).
Mencionan algunos autores que explican las
dimensiones estudiadas como son: covid-19,
cuarentena, salud mental, ansiedad, depresión,
factores de riesgo (académico, económico, familiar
y personal). Por lo tanto para recabar la
información se utilizó instrumentos como revisión
bibliográfica, aplicación del inventario de Beck
para ansiedad y depresión, así también, una
encuesta con los estudiantes de segundo y tercero
de bachillerato del Colegio Nacional Santa Isabel

Otro estudio realizado durante la pandemia en la Universidad Pública de
Perú da cuenta de la presencia de depresión en 45,9% de sus
estudiantes, con más incidencia en mujeres que en hombres.
Respecto a la ansiedad se encontró ansiedad en un 65,2% de los
participantes (Apaza, Sanz, & Arévalo, 2020, pág. 406).
Por otro lado, investigaciones anteriores se han centrado en
analizar factores que estén asociados al desarrollo de afecciones
psicológicas como la ansiedad y la depresión en la población
universitaria, siendo oportuno mencionar algunos de ellos.

de cuadros de ansiedad y depresión durante la pandemia
por Covid-19 en estudiantes de segundo y tercero de
bachillerato del Colegio de santa Isabel, año lectivo 2021-
2022.
JUSIFICACION

Los diferentes factores: académico, familiar, y personal


pueden estar asociados en el desarrollo de trastornos de
ansiedad y depresión en universitarios han sido expuestos
en estudios realizados por Martínez y Pérez, (2014)
“Ansiedad en estudiantes universitarios: estudio de una
muestra”, entre otros. No obstante, se ha encontrado
