Nihilismo

El término nihilismo (del latín nihil,

«nada») aparece asociado a alguien que
no cree en nada, al pesimista que piensa
que la vida carece de sentido y muestra
su resentimiento y odio hacia ella.
Si el hombre desea conocer el verdadero propósito de la vida, debe vivir por algo que sea superior a sí
mismo, y escuchar la voz del Salvador, diciendo: “Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida…” (Juan
14:6)1.
Cristo es la Luz de la humanidad. Alumbrado por esa luz, el hombre puede ver claramente su camino;
si la rechaza, su alma anda a tientas en la oscuridad. Ninguna persona, ni grupo ni nación puede
alcanzar el verdadero éxito sin seguir a Aquel que dijo:
“Yo soy la luz del mundo; el que me sigue, no andará en tinieblas, sino que tendrá la luz de la vida”
(Juan 8:12).
Es lamentable cuando se ve que las personas, individualmente, y las naciones, extinguen esa luz,
cuando Cristo y Su Evangelio son reemplazados por la ley de la selva y el poder de la espada. La
principal tragedia que enfrenta el mundo en este momento es la incredulidad en la bondad de Dios y la
falta de fe en las enseñanzas y doctrinas del Evangelio 4.
