El término ballet también se usa para

describir la pieza musical creada
específicamente para ser interpretada a través
de la danza clásica. El ballet se engloba como
una más de las Artes Escénicas.
Antecedentes
Sus comienzos fueron durante el Renacimiento
en Italia alrededor de los años 1400 y 1600, y
desde entonces se ha considerado una danza
cuya técnica debe ser enseñada desde muy
temprana edad por el requisito de
concentración, capacidad y esfuerzo que
necesita. Es una muestra de expresión cuyos
movimientos son controlados por todo el
cuerpo y se interpreta al ritmo de una pieza
musical compuesta.

Los diferentes tipos de danza clásica que se han desarrollado, responden a un origen en
distintas épocas o lugares.

Ballet cortesano.- Es un género que nació en la corte de Francia a

finales del siglo XVI. Es una mezcla de música, canto, poesía,
escenografía y coreografía. Consistía en una secuencia de entrees
o intermedios, durante los cuales los participantes bailaban por
turnos. La última entre era bailada conjuntamente por todos los
bailarines.

Ballet de acción.- También llamado ballet-pantomima, comenzó a

representarse en el siglo XVIII. Era un espectáculo narrativo a
través de una coreografía. El desarrollo del argumento se hacía
mediante la danza y la pantomima. Fue un éxito en toda Europa y
se representaban problemas cotidianos en tono de comedia.
 Tipos de danza clásica

Ballet romántico.- Tiene su origen a principios del s. XIX y surgió

para reemplazar al ballet de acción. La danza de esta época está
inspirada en la corriente romántica que buscaba revolucionar el arte
y romper con las ataduras, inclinándose por lo mágico, lo exótico y

Ballet español.- Engloba a varias expresiones artísticas. Por una

parte se identifica, por lo común con el baile flamenco y por otra
parte incluye una serie danzas folclóricas extendidas por distintos
territorios: muñeira, sardana, isa canaria, jota, etc.
 El ballet de hoy
Como hemos visto, el ballet ha ido experimentando
diversas transformaciones a lo largo de la historia y lo
interesante es que durante este proceso se han ido
definiendo las diferentes escuelas de ballet reconocidas a
día de hoy.

La formación de una escuela de ballet se basa en la cultura

del propio país y en la forma particular de este pueblo para
expresarse a través de la danza según el contexto y
situación que se viva.

basada en técnica clásica, puntas, repertorio, un programa estricto, con rutinas de ejercicio
adagio, técnica para hombres, paso a dos, danza previstas para cada día de la semana, reconocida
de carácter, histórica y de corte. como un ballet basado en la ciencia.

por la limpieza de cada posición, los pasos, y la atención a La técnica Danesa, donde la armonía entre cuerpo,
