 La historia de Pedro
Pedro llega de su colegio, deja su mochila y saluda a su mamá. Entonces ella
le dice que vaya a ver dónde está su hermanita pequeña, que desde hace rato
está en silencio. Pedro la busca por la sala y el patio, pero no la encuentra. En
esos momentos escucha un ruido en su cuarto, entra y encuentra a su
hermanita golpeando con fuerza su juguete preferido, un robot que Pedro
tenía bien guardado en su ropero. Pedro se da cuenta de que el robot tiene la
pierna rota; no lo puede creer, ese es el juguete que más le gusta y que más
ha cuidado. No sabe qué hacer, se siente muy molesto y está a punto de
pegar a su hermana, pero piensa que no debe hacerlo, que es pequeña,
entonces respira profundamente una vez, dos veces, tres y cuatro veces más.
Se siente más calmado. Toma de la mano a su hermanita y la lleva donde su
mamá; allí, más tranquilo, cuenta lo sucedido.
 Responde las preguntas
● ¿Cómo creen que se sintió Pedro en ese momento?
● ¿Creen que Pedro actuó bien?
● ¿Fue fácil para Pedro actuar así?
● ¿Cómo fue que Pedro logró tranquilizarse?

estamos ante un peligro.

real, pero otras ocurre por
algo que nos imaginamos.

Lo sentimos cuando
alguien no nos trata bien
o cuando las cosas no
salen como queremos.
Hay momentos en que el miedo, la cólera o la preocupación
por algo que nos pasa puede hacernos sentir tensos,
“nerviosos”, inseguros; entonces es importante aprender a
controlarnos, a relajarnos, y por lo mismo vamos a realizar
algunos ejercicios de respiración que ayudan a relajar
nuestro cuerpo y a sentirnos mejor cuando estamos tensos o
“nerviosos”.

1 Ejercicio 1

Parados respiramos profundamente: tomamos aire por la

nariz mientras levantamos los brazos hacia los costados,
guardamos el aire por unos segundos más y luego lo
botamos por la boca, al mismo tiempo que bajamos
suavemente los brazos. También podemos hacerlo
echados en el piso.

2 Ejercicio 2

Imaginemos que tenemos en una mano una flor y en la

otra una vela
Olemos la flor, soplamos las velas, olemos la flor,
soplamos la vela

2 Ejercicio 2

Usando una cinta o pañuelo grande, la o el tutor realiza
