hacer una exposición o mantener una conversación sencilla sobre temas técnicos.
2. PRESENTACIÓN
Dear apprentices,
Welcome to the development of this learning guide which is focused on exchanging personal information.
Exchanging Personal information is the basis for any conversation in English and it is really important when
you meet somebody for the first time. Questions and answers about personal information build blocks from
which the rest of the conversation can develop.
Therefore, in order to exchange personal information with others, it is primordial to identify informal and
formal greetings and farewells, basic questions about personal information, verb to be in present simple and
Wh questions.
Estudiar el material introductorio, el cual encuentra dentro de la carpeta Material de Apoyo correspondiente
a esta actividad de aprendizaje. Los temas a estudiar son:
a) Greetings and farewells (Study and practice the use of each one)
b) Personal Information (Answer the 20 questions about yourself)
c) Verb to be (Do the exercises)
d) Wh Questions (Study the use of each one)
Teniendo en cuenta los temas estudiados previamente, en grupos de a tres aprendices, realizar un video
sobre una Interview e n un contexto formal donde incluya formal greetings and farewells, personal
information questions y el correcto uso del verb to be en presente simple.
1. Script Video Interview: Realizar el script del video interview siguiendo los parámetros dados por la
instructora y teniendo en cuenta el Script Template, ubicado en la carpeta Material de Apoyo de
ésta guía de aprendizaje.
2. Video Interview: Realizar la grabación en video de la Interview donde participen los tres integrantes
del grupo, siguiendo los parámetros dados por la instructora y teniendo en cuenta el Video Template,
ubicado en la carpeta Material de Apoyo de ésta guía de aprendizaje.
Teniendo la oportunidad de trabajar en grupo y profundizar sobre el uso de las preguntas sobre información
personal en un contexto formal, es hora de trabajar de manera individual.
1. Curriculum Vitae: Teniendo en cuenta la explicaciòn y parámetros dados por la instructora, crear el
Currículum Vitae siguiendo el CV Template, ubicado en la carpeta Material de Apoyo de ésta guía
de aprendizaje.
2. Script Video Profile: Realizar el script del video profile siguiendo los parámetros dados por la
instructora y teniendo en cuenta el Script Template, ubicado en la carpeta Material de Apoyo de
ésta guía de aprendizaje.
3. Video Profile: Realizar la grabación de un video de un minuto donde se evidencie el perfil del
aprendiz de una forma creativa y profesional, siguiendo los parámetros dados por la instructora y
teniendo en cuenta el Video Template, ubicado en la carpeta Material de Apoyo de ésta guía de
aprendizaje.
Ambiente Requerido: Ambiente con equipos de cómputo con acceso a internet, y conexión a pantalla
One-screen ó T.V.

5. GLOSARIO DE TÉRMINOS
a. Curriculum Vitae (noun): a short written description of your education, qualifications, previous jobs,
and sometimes also your personal interests, which you send to an employer when you are trying to
get a job.
b. Farewell (noun): an o ccasion when someone says goodbye.
c. Greeting (noun): something friendly or polite that you say or do when you meet or welcome
someone. It can be said on meeting or in a written message.
d. Interview (noun): a meeting in which someone asks you questions to see if you are suitable for a
job or course.
e. Profile (noun): a short description of someone's life, work, character, etc.
f. Script (noun): the words of a film, play, broadcast, or speech.
g. Video Profile (noun): A profile video is a short video with a duration of 1 to 2 minutes that gives an
overview of your personal brand. It introduces who you are, what you do, the audience you're
targeting, and how you can add value to their organization.
h. Wh question (noun): a question in English that is a request for information. Wh- questions usually
start with a word beginning with wh-, but "how" is also included. The wh- words are: what, when,
where, who, whom, which, whose, why, and how.
