2. PRESENTACIÓN

El uso del inglés dentro del contexto laboral de países que no hablan esta lengua se hace más
común cada día. Tener la capacidad de utilizar el inglés de manera eficiente y eficaz dentro de
distintos contextos sociales se constituye en una herramienta poderosa de crecimiento personal y
laboral.

Es por esto que el aprendiz no puede ser ajeno a la necesidad de manejar correctamente este
idioma. El poder desenvolverse con fluidez utilizando las cuatro habilidades del lenguaje lo pone
en una posición ventajosa dentro de un mercado laboral cada vez más exigente y competitivo, en
el que el ser bilingüe es un plus inigualable y valioso.

Durante el presente nivel el aprendiz podrá utilizar el inglés para darse a entender en el contexto
laboral, dar consejo, planear un viaje e intercambiar información real de su entorno.

3. FORMULACIÓN DE LAS ACTIVIDADES DE APRENDIZAJE

3.1. Actividades de reflexión inicial

El mercado laboral actual es cada vez más competitivo y exigente. Las empresas requieren
talento humano preparado no solo a nivel técnico especializado, sino que además cuente con
habilidades blandas como la resolución de conflictos y la comunicación asertiva.

Una de las principales exigencias de este nuevo mercado es la capacidad de comunicarse en una
segunda lengua. El inglés sigue siendo el idioma preferido en este contexto, dada su facilidad de
aprendizaje y amplio

impacto a nivel mundial. El SENA ofrece a sus aprendices cursos virtuales, complementarios y
transversales de formación en este idioma, con altos estándares de calidad y un equipo de
instructores con gran experiencia y preparación académica.

Daniela y Camilo son aprendices SENA. A lo largo de su formación se han preparado en las
habilidades técnicas y actitudinales propias de su especialidad y han demostrado interés y
compromiso, siendo los mejores de su clase. Al momento de enfrentar la formación en Inglés,
Camilo se dispone a aprender el idioma y reforzar lo aprendido en el bachillerato. Es por
naturaleza curioso y reconoce el poder del Internet como espacio de formación permanente, por lo
que al mismo tiempo de su formación transversal desarrolla un curso virtual y practica en las
aplicaciones de inglés técnico que el SENA pone a su disposición. Sus resultados son
sobresalientes y termina su capacitación con honores.

Por su parte, Daniela demuestra poco interés por la materia. Realiza las actividades con el fin de
aprobar la competencia en inglés y dar por terminado el asunto sin más complicaciones. Termina
su formación con un resultado promedio, suficiente apenas para alcanzar los resultados de
aprendizaje.

Al momento de iniciar su etapa productiva, Camilo y Daniela se presentan a distintas empresas de


la región. Camilo se asegura una plaza en una empresa con impacto internacional gracias a su
nivel de inglés, y al terminar la etapa es contratado de manera indefinida. Daniela, por su parte,
logra terminar su etapa con éxito, pero debe buscar trabajo en otra empresa, perdiendo una gran
oportunidad laboral.

Me identifico más con Daniela soy muy lento para entender las cosas por lo que solo las
hago para salir del paso pero quisiera cambiar esa forma de pensar mía y mejorar mis promedios.

El ingles es un idioma fundamental y genera muchas oportunidades de negocio y muchas


oportunidades de tener un mejor trabajo y calidad de vida.

Si me esforzaré para mejorar mi calidad de vida y estudio pienso aprender con


aplicaciones y con cursor en línea ver y mejorar mi escritura y mi forma de hablarlo.
