The ramp of a ship has a weight of 200 lb and a center


of gravity at G. Determine the cable force in CD needed
to the just start lifting the ramp. (i.e., so the reaction at
B becomes zero). Also, determine the horizontal and
vertical components of force at the hinge (pin) at A.

punto A corresponde a un perno liso sin
fricción, es decir, le corresponden dos
reacciones una horizontal y otra vertical.

Siempre que se van a resolver problemas de equilibrio del cuerpo rígido en el plano, lo mejor es iniciar con sumatoria
de momentos, en el punto en donde aparecen por lo menos dos incógnitas, es decir, en el punto donde se encuentra
