Child exploitation is a treaty in different ways which the State has tried
to eliminate this way of treating children. Exploitation of children and
adolescents has increased 66% every 4 years in Peru, which comes from
the population, especially in parts of the province, such as Piura or other
provinces in which a high rate of child exploitation.
There is a tolerance towards children who work to support themselves
with studies or other needs that they need, but, according to the ILO the
children they are using to work are 14 years old or less, which there is a
law in which it is responsible on at what age they can work and the age
would be up to 16 years, therefore, the legislation prohibits the
exploitation and child labor that.
In Peru in 2003, it was announced that for every 100 children 46 are
those who work and adolescents would be from six to 17 years old,
which would work and the percentages would increase that would even
exceed that of Africa.
This phenomenon of child exploitation arises through poverty or
extreme poverty, this would not get to focus children for the state.
To face this phenomenon within the problem, it is necessary to have a
comprehensive approach and also the adaptation of social policies, this
effort would be made at the national and regional level.
In Piura a program has been given in which it allows us to be part of the
government which is fighting for poverty in which there are regions that
suffer from extreme poverty. An ENAHO study was carried out in 2003 in
which they survey children and adolescents who work according to the
situation or aspect of the child or adolescent and their family in the Piura
region, which his vision is based on the problem the state and society
are committed to this problem
In Piura in 2001 it was announced that children worked in services that
was 55% and the second would be in industry, and in the third would be
in agriculture, which within them would generate exploitation of
children. and teenagers.
