It isn´t expensive. It´s cheap. (Esto no es caro. Está barato)

It´s an old film. It isn´t very good. (Es una película antigua. No es muy buena)

These photos are bad! (¡Estas fotos son muy malas!)

Nota: You en ingles puede referirse tanto a una persona (singular) como a varias (plural).
¿Cómo saber a cuantas personas se refiere a You? No se preocupen, la situación nos
ayudará a saberlo. Todo depende de si nos estamos dirigiendo a una o varias personas (tú o
ustedes) y de la formalidad del caso (Usted o ustedes).

Por otro lado, a veces usamos There+be (ejemplo There is, there are) para hablar dónde
están las cosas u objetos y cuando ocurren los eventos.

Singular: There´s a supermarket in this Street (Hay un supermercado en esta calle)

There is a bus to Maracaibo at 6 o´clock (Hay un autobús para Maracaibo a las

seis en punto)

Plural: There are some good cafés in the centre of the town (Hay unos buenos cafés en el
centro de la ciudad).

There are taxis, but there aren´t any buses on Sunday (Hay unos taxis, pero no hay
autobuses los domingos).

3.- Pronombres personales en función del sujeto

Los pronombres en función del sujeto suelen ponerse delante del verbo y se utilizan para
reemplazar a los nombres, sobre todo cuando queda claro a quién o a qué se está haciendo
referencia:

viviendo aquí.)
