FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVE: To teach all about the energy, types, characteristics and light and
sound

ACTIVITY: Realicen una historieta en la que den a conocer todo lo relacionado con la energía,
tipos, y como se produce la energía, con esta actividad se pretende conocer los conocimientos
previos de los estudiantes.

CONCEPTS
AIM: Introduce the characteristics energy, types, light and sound.
ENERGY: is de ability to do work, is all that produce movement; the capacity for doing work. It
may exist in potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical, chemical, nuclear, or other various forms.
There are sound, heat and work energy in the process of transfer from one body to another.
TYPES OF ENERGY:
 Chemical energy
 Mechanical energy
 Wind energy
 Electrical energy
 Solar energy
 Thermal energy
FORMS OF ENERGY
 Light: La Luz consiste en una forma de energía, emitida por los cuerpos y que nos
permite percibirlos mediante la vista. Según su comportamiento ante la luz, los medios
se pueden clasificar en: Transparentes, opacos y translúcidos
 SOUND: El sonido es una onda longitudinal que necesita de un medio material
(gaseoso, líquido o sólido) para propagarse.
Cualidades del sonido
Los sonidos se diferencian unos de otros por sus cualidades fundamentales:
Intensidad sonora
Tono
Timbre
Reflexión
ACTIVITY:
1. Identify the types of energy and make a conceptual map about it
2. Draw two examples of properties of light
3. Explain with yourself words what is chemical and electrical energy?
 4. Look the image and write what are the types of renewable energy?

5. Do a letters soup using the next words relations with qualities of sound and types of
energy:
