1 Al instalarse en el Hotel
When checking in at the Hotel
Al llegar a su habitación, ubique el Plano de
Evacuación que puede estar detrás de la puerta
o en el pasadizo. A continuación, identifique las
Salidas de Emergencia y reconozca las respectivas
Vías de Evacuación, así como las Zonas Seguras
del hotel.
As soon as you get to your room, look for the evacuation signs, probably
located behind your room door or at the hallway. It is also important to
identify the emergency exits, evacuation routes and safety zones inside
the hotel.
Verifique el número de teléfono de la recepción y téngalo
a la mano.
Check if the front desk number is the correct one and
keep it always at hand.
Verifique si existe una linterna proporcionada por el hotel
para casos de emergencia.
Please check if the hotel has provided your room with a
flashlight in case of emergency.
2 ¿Qué hacer en caso de INCENDIO?

EVITE INCENDIOS | AVOID FIRES
Fume solo en ambientes seleccionados para
fumadores.
Smoking is allowed only in smoking areas.
En caso esté autorizado fumar en la habitación, evite
hacerlo en la cama.
If the hotel allows guests to smoke inside rooms, it
should not be done when lying on the bed.
No tire las colillas de cigarrillos en los tachos de
basura. Siempre utilice un cenicero.

Make sure matches are burned out before throwing
them into trash cans.

3 Si detecta un probable INCENDIO

MANTENGA LA CALMA | STAY CALM
Si detecta un incendio o percibe humo, informe
inmediatamente a la recepción o a algún trabajador
del hotel. En voz alta grite “FUEGO” o haga ruido para
alertar a las personas a su alrededor.
If smoke or fire is detected, call the front desk or
search for a hotel employee, warn people around
you and shout out loud “FIRE”.
Si escucha el sonido de un detector de humo o se activa la alarma
contra incendios, prepárese para evacuar. Siga las instrucciones del
personal del hotel a través del Sistema de Comunicación Interno u
otros medios.
If a smoke detector or fire alarm is activated, get ready to evacuate.
Follow the instructions given by hotel employees.

Evacuación en caso de INCENDIO
Evacuation in case of FIRE
Abandone con rapidez su habitación. No se preocupe
por su equipaje u objetos personales.
Leave your room immediately. Do not worry about
your personal belongings.
Si la puerta es la única salida, verifique que la cerradura no esté
caliente. Si está caliente, no abra. Alce la voz pidiendo ayuda y siga las
indicaciones señaladas para los casos en que no es posible evacuar.
If the door where you are is the only way out, make sure the handle is
not hot. If so, do not open the door and ask or shout for help. To keep
safe follow the instructions provided for this situation.
De lograr abrir la puerta, evacúe siguiendo las
señales que indiquen la Vía de Evacuación hacia el
exterior del hotel. Al salir, cierre la puerta para evitar
la propagación del fuego.
If you manage to open the door, follow the exit signs
and leave the hotel immediately. Close the door after
you to avoid spread of fire.
Si hay humo en el corredor, colóquese lo más
cerca posible del piso y desplácese a gatas. Trate
de no inhalar humo. Si es posible, tápese la nariz y
boca con un trapo húmedo.
If smoke is detected in the hallway, get down to
the floor and crawl. Try not to inhale smoke and
if it’s possible, cover your mouth and nose with a
wet cloth.
No use ascensores. Trate de bajar por las escaleras
de evacuación. La evacuación a pisos superiores es
peligrosa debido a que el humo tiende a subir.
Do not use elevators. Get to the first floor by using
the stairs. Evacuation to the upper floors is not
recommended because smoke tends to rise.
Si su ropa se incendia, ruede en el piso y cúbrase
con una manta para apagar el fuego.
If your clothes get on fire, roll on the floor and
cover yourself with a blanket to put out the fire.
5 Si no es posible evacuar
If it is not possible to evacuate
MANTENGA LA CALMA | STAY CALM
Informe a la recepción o al personal de seguridad que no le es posible
evacuar o grite fuertemente para que alguien lo escuche.
Report the front desk or security personnel about your situation. If
you can’t reach any of them, shout out loudly for someone to hear
you.
Coloque sábanas, ropa o toallas mojadas debajo
de las puertas para evitar que el humo ingrese a su
habitación.
Place immediately wet bed sheets, towels or
clothing under the doors to avoid smoke into the
room.
De ser posible utilice el agua de la ducha o bañera
para remojar sus prendas y protegerse así del fuego.
If possible use water from the shower or bathtub to
soak your clothes for fire protection.
Llame la atención de las personas en el exterior
haciendo señales desde la ventana con una
linterna, sábanas, toallas, entre otros.
