RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
Climate change and the increase in prices of petroleum products have generated
great concern worldwide, so have sought alternatives, such as the bioethanol, this
is produced by the fermentation of sugars contained in the organic matter of plants,
in this particular case occurred ethanol cassava starch by a series of processes
that include dilution, conversion, fermentation and distillation, in which a small
amount of ethanol as the final product was obtained, and being this fermentable
1% of the initial content. This is attributed to when performing the process some
difficulties were presented in the evaluated parameters. The importance of this
study is to search through alternative sources of agricultural materials for the
benefit of industry and the environment, as it seeks to reduce global warming and
improve the global energy crisis.
