In this line he advanced in austerity and knowledge as a Brahmacari
(Novitiate Monk) from 1974, Sannyasin (Life Long Monk) from 1984 and
Acharya (Professor) from 1994. Simultaneously he continued with his
academic pursuits as a Director of the Bhaktivedanta Institute onto
his current postions with IECOO and NIOS. This has involved lecturing
all over the world from South and North America to Europe and Asia.
He has repeatedly organized and presented at premier institutions with
programs that have included Nobel Laureates such as Charles Townes,
Sir John Eccles the Dalai Lama and others. He was Chief Guest at the
landmark "National Seminar on Science and Technolgy in Ancient India"
organized by Calcutta University in 2001.
Recently, and exemplary of his general activities, he was principal
organizer for NIOS and also a principal academic presenter at the
seminar on "The Contribution of Ancient Indian Culture toward Making a
Better World". The Seminar lasted for four days and was co-produced by
NIOS and the Indian museum Kolkatta. The Indian museum is probably the
most respected forum in Kolkatta along with the Rama-krishna Mission
of Culture and the University of Calcutta. The Seminar was
innaugurated by Mukunda-kam Sharma, former Justice of the Supreme
Court of India, and the Chief Guest was Shyamal Kumar Sena, sitting

Justice, High Court Kolkatta, and Former Govenor West Bengal. Public
participation in the Sessions astounded the Museum as well as the
promotors, and included papers from esteemed scholars from Europo,
South and North America as well many universities from India.
While still engaged in traveling, lecturing and consulting his
emphasis is changing to writing in order to explain the intricacies of
meditation and contemplation from the Bhagavata tradition necessary to
the complete cultivation of the human spirit.
