The skin is the largest organ in the body and throughout the life of the individual it
plays an important role in communication on several levels (Tynes, 2013). Skin is
the largest organ in the body, comprising approximately 16% of the total body
weight. Skin is composed of two main layers, the epidermis, originating during
embryonic development from ectoderm, and the underlying dermis, which is
derived from mesoderm. Ectodermal skin components contain epidermis and
several skin appendages, such as hairs, sebaceous glands, and sweat glands
( (Kobielak, Kandyba, & Leung, 2015) Existen diversas causas de dermatopatias,
