ADJETIVOS
Los adjetivos en ingls se pueden clasificar en las siguientes categoras:
Determinativos, Calificativos, Cuantitativos, Gentilicios, Participios,
Compuestos, Numerales, etc. Aqu tambin veremos los intensificadores de
adjetivos, los comparativos, superlativos y cmo se realizan las comparaciones
en ingls.

FORMAS VERBALES
Resumen
En el resumen de los tiempos, damos una lista de todos los tiempos verbales ingleses,
adems de ejemplos y consejos para su correcto uso.
Ejemplo:
he goes
he is going
he has gone
he went
he will go
Simple present
Con el simple present (presente del indicativo), se describen acciones que se repiten
(acciones habituales), cosas generales, accionmes planeadas, programadas, acciones en el
presente que suceden una tras otra, as como acciones indeterminadas en el tiempo y con
unos verbos concretos (understand).
Ejemplo:
She often goes to the cinema.
Present progressive
El present progressive (presente continuo) es la forma continua del presente. En ingls, se
utiliza para describir acciones que estn teniendo lugar en el momento presente y/o slo de
forma temporal.
Ejemplo:
We are standing in front of the cinema.
Simple past
El simple past (pasado simple) se utiliza para describir acciones que sucedieron en el
pasado, una o varias veces.
Example:
We were at the cinema yesterday.
Past progressive
En ingls, con el past progressive (pasado continuo), se busca recalcar el transcurrir de un
evento en el pasado.

ADJETIVOS POSESIVOS
Los adjetivos posesivos en ingls son: my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their. Hacen
referencia a quien posee y no a lo posedo. En general preceden a sustantivos. Aqu
encontrars ejemplos traducidos al espaol.

your (ir) - tu, tus / su, sus (de usted)
his (jis) - su, sus (de l)
her (jer) - su, sus (de ella)
its (its) - su, sus (de algo)
our (uar) - nuestro/a/os/as
your (ir) - su, sus (de ustedes/vosotros)
their (dr) - su, sus (de ellos/as)
PRONOMBRES POSESIVOS
Los pronombres posesivos en ingls son: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, yours, theirs.
Indican posesin y son invariables. Nunca van precedidos de un artculo. Aqu
encontrars ejemplos traducidos al espaol.

AUXILIARES
Los verbos auxiliares, tambin llamadas helping verbs (verbos ayudantes), se
usan con un verbo principal para creer formas verbales compuestas. Verbos
auxiliares pueden ser seguidos de uno, dos, hasta tres otros verbos. Los verbos
auxiliares se usan para formar preguntas y oraciones afirmativas y negativas.

Algunas frases usan ms que un verbo auxiliar. Fjese que el primer verbo
auxiliar esta conjugado por tiempo y persona. Los verbos auxiliares que siguen
llevan la forma de un participio presente o participio pasado mientras el verbo
principal lleva la forma de un participio presente o un infinitivo. Aqu hay
ejemplos con dos verbos auxiliares.
