DEFINICION

Spelling Bee es un concurso que pone en

práctica la habilidad de los estudiantes para
deletrear palabras en forma precisa en un
tiempo limitado.
OBJETIVOS:

1.Despertar el interés de los estudiantes por

aprender a deletrear palabras en inglés de
manera rápida y precisa, demostrando
comprensión y conocimiento léxico.
2. Promover el aprendizaje del idioma inglés de
los alumnos a través de un concurso dinámico y
educativo orientado a:

La excelencia ortográfica.

La ampliación de su vocabulario.
La asimilación de nuevos conceptos según
contexto.
The spelling bee is an
oral competition. This
means you will have to
spell words out.

So, you will say, “B-E-E”

to spell out ‘bee’.
You should
pronounce (say)
the word before
and after spelling.

You will be on a stage
facing your teachers
and classmates!
The judge (teacher) will
say the word ONCE.
ONCE
You can ask him/her to
repeat the word ONE
more time.
Then, you will have 30
seconds to spell it out
You can also ask for
the definition
(meaning) of the word
or ask the judge to
use it in a sentence
(example).
