El diplomado en Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo permitirá al estudiante entender
como gestionar los riesgos y oportunidades a efectos de prevenir lesiones y deterioro
de la salud de los trabajadores. Un ambiente de trabajo libre de enfermedades y
accidentes redunda en un incremento considerable de la eficacia y eficiencia de una
empresa; pero lo más primordial es que estamos cuidando el activo más valioso que
tienen las familias y las empresas: la vida humana.

OBJETIVOS
Lograr que todos los participantes conozcan y entiendan la aplicación correcta y
eficiente del Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo, tomando en
cuenta las Leyes nacionales como las internacionales, a través del ciclo PHAV (Plani-
ficar, Hacer, Actuar y Evaluar) de manera que se reduzca de forma significativa las
contingencias de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, así como puedan gestionar las me-
joras continuas. Al finalizar el/la estudiante podrá afrontar de manera adecuada
auditorias por parte del Ministerio de Trabajo, tener la posición de Auditor Interno o
encargatura del área de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo.
