Organizational Unit
Established in 1951, IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, and as the
leading UN agency in the field of migration, works closely with governmental,
intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting
humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and
advice to governments and migrants.
CONTEXT:
Bajo la supervisión general del Jefe de Misión (CdM) / Jefe de PAC en Panamá y la
supervisión directa del Asistente del Jefe de Misión / Jefe de PAC, el conductor será
responsable y rendirá cuentas de la conducción de los vehículos de la OIM y gestionará
su mantenimiento diario para garantizar la viabilidad, el transporte, la entrega y
recogida de correo, documentos y otros artículos, así como el transporte del personal
de la OIM.
EDUCACIÓN
• Título de bachillerato/certificado con un mínimo de 2 años de experiencia laboral
pertinente o licenciatura de una institución acreditada.
• Permiso de conducir nacional en vigor.
EXPERIENCIA
• Conocimiento de las normas y reglamentos de conducción.
• Experiencia en la conducción de diversas marcas y modelos de vehículos.
• Habilidades en reparaciones menores de vehículos.
• Conocimientos de radio, correo electrónico, teléfono y otras aplicaciones.
HABILIDADES
• Estar dispuesto a trabajar en horarios flexibles.
• Creatividad
• Resolución de problemas
• Adaptabilidad
• Organización
IDIOMAS
Requerido: Para todos los solicitantes, se requiere dominio del español (oral y escrito).
Deseable: Conocimientos prácticos de inglés

OTHER:
Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for
appointment, any residency or visa requirements, and security clearances. Subject to
certain exemptions, vaccination against COVID-19 will in principle be required for
individuals hired on or after 15 November 2021. This will be verified as part of the
medical clearance process.IOM does not charge a fee at any stage of its recruitment
