5 pacientes (14 hombres y 11 mujeres), con una edad promedio de 61,2 años
(38-79 años); se implantaron un total de 159 implantes, incluidos 113
implantes anteriores y 46 implantes Implantes en la región

Las fallas asociadas al tamaño del implante están interconectadas con la extensión de la mesa
oclusal, siendo el mal posicionamiento del implante lo que provoca fuerzas oblicuas al
mismo. En cuanto a las prótesis entablilladas o segmentadas, las tasas de fracaso se
asocian por la misma razón, y las prótesis entablilladas ofrecen una mejor disipación
de fuerzas13.
